I have known Sim personally for the last 15 years. He is a fantastic attorney and a top legal mind. Salt Lake County could not possibly have a better District Attorney to replace the retiring David Yocom. He is a man of integrity and has a keen mind for dissecting complicated legal issues and resolving complex problems that our community faces. The party affiliation should not be an issue here. I understand in Utah that can be a problem. I assure you that he will make the best decisions for the community weighing all of the issues and not be beholden to the groups that you usually have to worry about with a politician.
