Did you see the Sunday morning news shows?
George Will said “Everytime I hear the administration’s legal rational for wiretapping I get a headache”
I thought Howard Dean laid out the democratic platform, again, quite well, including something along the lines of being strong on national defense by not liying to our soldiers about the reasons for going to war, making sure when we do go to war, that we are fighting for something worth dying for, and or course, give them the proper equipment to fight.

When George Will is displeased with Bush, we are in BIG TROUBLE!

Poor Dean; the format for his going to war conflicts with the fundamental reality if killing en masse. In order for large groups of individuals to go forth and kill one another in droves, it is esssential that they be lied to, in some manner, why else, other than some form of mental problem, would they go out of their homes and families to do so?
Lies work wonders in this regard. This a consistant historical fact. Get with the program…

I think George Will fails to appreciate that the friction between the branches he decries is precisely what was intended when the doctrine of the separation of powers was adopted by the convention of 1787. To say one branch or another should back down from such a fight misses the point. As President Clinton’s Assistant Attorney General, Walter Dellinger, advised him, “If the President does not challenge such provisions…there often will be no occasion for judicial consideration of their constitutionality; a policy of consistent Presidential enforcement of statutes limiting his power thus would deny the Supreme Court the opportunity to review the limitations and thereby would allow for unconstitutional restrictions of the President’s authority.â€

In that cartoon is that Osama Bin Laden in the middle? Is the artist implying that it would be wrong to shoot Osama? It better not be a depiction of Muhammad, but of course no Dhimmicrat artist is ever going to break Islamic law by creating a caricature of Muhammad.
OBTW a Dhimmi is someone who agrees to pay a tribute to Islam (like giving up their free speech rights) in exchange for not being forced to become Muslim and not being killed, however they still must obey Islamic law, and are treated as second class citizens.
