Diebold Busted in Florida (and elsewhere). Utah Has CHANCE Do it Right!
If you aren’t up to speed on the Diebold issue, and have as little time as the rest of us. You should at the very least be aware of this and this about the proven vulnerablities of the Diebold systems.

MIAMI — Among those who worry that hackers might sabotage election tallies, Ion Sancho is something of a hero.
The maverick elections supervisor in Leon County, Fla., last year helped show that electronic voting machines from one of the major manufacturers are vulnerable, according to experts, and would allow election workers to alter vote counts without detection.
Don’t take my word for it. Ask any techno geek. You cast your vote on a Dieblod machine, and you might as well be spitting into the wind.
Governor Hunstman is the only one who can address this issue. I hope to speak with him next week.
His decision will be, Do I trust my politically motivated, technologically unqualified Lt Governor and risk the the same disaster experienced by ALL of the states that have already used Diebold machines in special primaries, or do I trust Utahns to continue to conduct flawless elections the old fashion way?
My hope is that he will be the first Governor to pull the plug on the most manipulatated, politicized, suspicious, jammed-down-his-throat upset to the way we’ve done things for years, and renew his confidence in the Utah community of loyal patrotic senior citizens who have conducted flawless elections in Utah for a century without the aid of some new technology from the single largest corporate contributor to Bush campaign in 2004. (which subcommittee testimony on the subject has been scrubbed for the State Legislator’s site)
So what if our results take 24 hours? At least there will be no contests or recounts.
We Utahns are MORE than willing to do the work. We are Utahns!
I hate to say it, but Lt Governor Herbert’s decision making process would not pass muster in my company, Hunstman Chemical, or any successful for-profit company.
