Every Once in a While A Person Comes Along…
I am an excellent judge of people. Most everybody thinks they are too. But I really am. For me, it’s a sport. I live in constant fear that I’ll meet someone who exceeds my contribution and commitment to making the world a better place.
I first met Christine Johnson among the six-hundred in attendance at the Equality Utah benefit several years ago. All night I kept hearing her name as a board member, and this and that, and what a really great person blah, blah, blah. Among the embellish-prone, she was the crème d’ la crème. The Cinderella of the evening, the golden ring gotta-meet-person. I was so set up, by the time I met her, I felt like I was standing in my skivies. She turned “all that” and more.
I’ve worked with Chris in various capacities ever since on issues and campaigns and am thus well-qualified to pass broad judgment. If ever you are fortunate enough to both share her goals and avail yourself of an opportunity to work with her in a purposeful way, you will also glimpse that certain kind of goodness that find’s it peer in great novels of heroines and leaders. But don’t believe me. Demand proof.

How much time ones spends volunteering personal family time, regularly, in the season of their lives, is the true measure of one’s intent and integrity of purpose. That single criteria — and it is black and white — should be the only means by which we measure one’s true commitment to making the world a better place.
The other requirement is effective leadership. That can be gleaned from results. In both cases, Christine Johnson exceeds her challengers. Christine is not just a great candidate, WE NEED HER.
Christine Johnson is running for the State House in District 25, Sugarhouse. She is our next Olene Walker.
Thank you Chris for running.

Ditto everything you said. Now if we can just figure out a way to clone her to look like Buttars and Christensen, and all the others, we could sepnd the session focused on real solutions rather than projects that are meant to out-pious the next guy.

Its about time a real person threw their hat in the ring. Chris will be effective because she had good manners and an infectious smile. Chris can turn a bigot into a flower child.

Is anyone seriously running against her? I can’t think of anyone who has a chance.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chris, and I was overjoyed to see her campaign announcement. I cannot imagine a better person to represent the interests of her district. Josh may be a nice fellow, but Chris has what it takes to represent. She gives freely of her time and increase to progressive causes. She talks the talk better than anyone up on the hill right now, but more to the point, she walks the walk like nobody’s business. Utah will be a better state with her on the hill, period.

Now more than ever we must elect the best leaders to guide our government. Chris Johnson is the best person for the House seat in District 25. While there are some other excellent, we must give the nod to Chris. Fortunately, I live in District 25 and will have an opportunity to vote for her.

I also have had the experience of working with Chris has Co-Chairs of the Equality Utah Allies Dinner. If you ever want to see first hand what real passion is about or how real passion is delivered, work with Chris. We would leave each meeting with our list of “To-do’s”. I would show up at the next meeting proud that I had completed mine. She would show-up, not only would her list that we made together, be completed, she would have thought of seven or eight other items and completed those as well.
Not only does she get the “Big Picture” she’s understands the details that it takes to get the job done. First hand prove of the is in the eyes of her daughter. Knowing you are loved unconditionally gives you confidence to try anything. I don’t live in District 25, but i will work hard to elect Chris. The “hill” will be a better place with her on it!

There are decent candidates running in District 25, but Christine is the one that “get’s it”. Without compensation, she lobbies for what she believes in and loves the challenge. I’ve seen her on the hill…frequently, but none of the other candidates. Josh Ewing give me the impression he’s “slick”. He talk’s the talk, but doesn he walk the walk?. I personally think Christine has the passion to fight the good fight. It’s not the title or status she’s after. IT’S THE CHANGE! GO CHRIS

I went to Christine’s website and read that she gives part of her salary to charity, but let’s her real estate client pick the charity. I though that was pretty cool. I wish I could vote for her.

Pay attention folks, we are looking at a genuine individual. Christine is running for the right reasons. I like her and have volunteered to help her get elected. I challenge others to do so.
