A local poll conducted recently puts Pete Ashdown well ahead of Orrin Hatch for US Senate.
The poll asked residents this question:
If the 2006 election for Utah’s U.S. Senate seat were held today, would you vote for Pete Ashdown, the Democrat, or Orrin Hatch, the Republican?
Results:
Ashdown: 50%
Hatch: 36%
Undecided/Illegal Immigrants: 14%

From the local poll link: “Part of the Plan surveyed 14 neighbors who appeared to be of legal voting age. Margin of error not applicable with this small sampling.”
14 people! “Who appeared to be of legal voting age.” That is hilarious! The SL Trib poll only used “625 actual registered voters.” I wonder which is more accurate? Hmm.
