Orrin Backpedals on Nutcake Comment

Thak you Orrin for that clarification, because my eighty-year old mom was really offended by that comment. You see, she doesn’t like the FACT that Bush betrayed us and knowingly mislead the world about the Niger yellow cake and the so called chemical weapons laboratories in trailers.

Mom is especially upset about all the innocent sodiers and Iraqi families that are being killed everyday en mass, as a result of out failed policy in Iraq.

Actually, she did give you the finger.

I don’t know why the Niger uranium thing was ever an issue. Bush tried to scare us with the idea that Iraq wanted to obtain uranium oxide (yellowcake) from Niger. But Iraq already had an ample stockpile of the stuff, which is not to be confused with enriched uranium or weapons-grade uranium. Yellowcake is relatively harmless, and when we invaded Iraq no effort was made to secure the uranium. It was dumped on the ground by looters intent on stealing the drums it was stored in. I suppose this was an example of the usual Bush administration approach, taking advantage of the fact that many Americans aren’t paying close attention to national security issues and are easily frightened.

Yellow Nutcake. Musta been what I we were eatin’ last Bastille Day. But really, folks, I won’t accept Orrin’s retraction unless he apologizes for supporting the war, spying on Democrats, proping-up, or rather being part of this heinous administration, and owns the fact that it’s time for some new blood in our Senate. I rather like being a ‘nutcake’.

What a pathetic joke. Orrin Hatch just lost the miniscule of credibility that remained.
