Actually, it us the US that’s gone crazy. I am sickened by the situation in and around Israel. Hezbollah is crazy, but we are responsible for not doing anything to provide a forum for diplomacy. A simple review of our foreign policy efforts in that part of the Middle East will reflect that.

A really ugly thing happened that should weigh on the conscience of every American. A little girl was shot as she buried her doll in a pretend funeral.

A local poll conducted recently puts Pete Ashdown well ahead of Orrin Hatch for US Senate.
The poll asked residents this question:
If the 2006 election for Utah’s U.S. Senate seat were held today, would you vote for Pete Ashdown, the Democrat, or Orrin Hatch, the Republican?
Results:
Ashdown: 50%
Hatch: 36%
Undecided/Illegal Immigrants: 14%
