Classic Blog Exchange Between Utahns
A classic blog exchange on KSL from President Bush Ends Stay in Utah
Tar & Feathers
by Jim F. (#27053) @ 10:12am - Thu Aug 31st, 2006
I have 55 gallons of tar and 100 pounds of chicken feathers ready for the job. Americans would be proud of Utahns were Chimpy to be frogmarched in the heat back to Air Force One covered in tar and feathers.

LoL why do you have all that tar and feathers? Sounds like a personal problem to me.
Bush lovers

You gotta love ‘em. Tell you what. However, if I had to pick between the two, I’d definitely love Bush before I’d love that wack-job Rocky.
Jim F, here is one for you to think about

Some of your indirect comments regarding the President may be of interest to the United States Secret Service. I know if I were a Federal officer, I would be concerned about your hate filled remarks towards the President.

Which President do you refer? The lying sack of crap known variously as the Chimp, the Decider, the Big Disaster, and the Absolutely Most Brain-Dead President the US has ever elected to office? Is that the President you refer? The President that 67% of the US and 98% of the world disapproves? No hate-filed remarks here, just repeating what the rest of the country thinks. Pick up a newspaper now and then and read it, you may be surprised!

Gee mister you must be really smart.. You use such big words to get your teenie tiny point across. I know I will listen to you because you know how to belittle people. I did the same thing on the playground you poopoo head.
Problem
by Blake R. (#44494) @ 2:43pm - Thu Aug 31st, 2006
The problem is that you are picking up the news papers and reading them. Do you believe everything you read and hear from the media?! Wow, you have a lot of growing up to do. Maybe you should form you OWN opinion…stop relying on what the writers of a few news papers have to say.

You must be referring to Slick Willie, your obvious idol, husband of Ms. Rodham. He certainly fits the description in your response. PS: don’t smoke any cigars.
Lincoln

Wrong, but I invite you to guess again. Slick Willie, even at the lowest point of the Monica scandal, had better approval ratings than Bush now enjoys, and was actually liked by folks around the world. Hint: The President being referred to has the following initials - GWB.
liked by the world
by Darren W. (#28942) @ 8:04pm - Thu Aug 31st, 2006
Slick Willie was liked by the rest of the world because he was spineless, they new they could knock us around and he would do absolutely nothing of significance to stop them. They are deathly afriad of Bush because they know he will not stand for anyone killing our people…..

You make me laugh, and cry! Deathly afraid, you say? Listen to the president of Iran and tell me exactly what he says that makes you think he is “deathly afraid”? Your spineless, blind faith in this failure of an administration makes me sick!
Morality
by Steven C. (#91646) @ 5:09am - Fri Sep 1st, 2006
Have you been outside the US? The I was in Europe during the Monica trials. People outside the US were in stitches that there was even a scandal. “Adultery? You mean there’s a word for what he did? Weird, we just call it normal male behavior.” I’m exaggerating of course, but not much. Sick Willie’s polls didn’t drop as much because he was on par with the moral majority of the world, and the rest of the US is headed in that direction. Dubbya, despite his obvious and apparent flaws, has moral conviction, not to mention an inability to mask or hide those flaws. The first part bothers the (a)moral majority. The latter gives them ammunition against him.

Slick Willie might have had better ratings but that just goes to show how sick people in this country have become. The bible is accurate. People will become worse than Sodom & Gomorrah before the 2nd coming, and it sure is happening. I know, you are one that probably doesn’t believe in God or the Bible or any of that. You will find out in the end. Have a nice life now, cause you won’t for the next 1000 yrs.
Nice Doug

Doug, It’s good of you to let your true colors show! Reading between the lines, am I correct in assuming that you understand those who do not believe in your God or your Bible will be in “trouble” for the next 1000 years? Notwithstanding the harsh political rhetoric that many folks, including myself, have expressed on the site over the past few days, your contribution above is one of the most selfish, undeserved posts ever placed on ksl.com. You owe me and every other contributor to this site, regardless of their political or religious affiliation, an apology! Again, it is good that you show us your true colors so that we all - including those like myself who respect faiths of others - know where you stand.
What polls?
by B. S. (#60499) @ 5:40pm - Thu Aug 31st, 2006
Can you provide links to these so called polls that reflect a 67% and 98% of the world disapproves of Bush? I’d really be interested in seeing those.
BS
by Jim F. (#27053) @ 5:58pm - Thu Aug 31st, 2006
Google “Bush polls” and take your pick - they all pretty much indicate the same result: disasterous approval ratings.
You’re “Googling” to find polls on Bush. Sure I can go out to a Bush hating site and find a poll where 99% of the bush haters hate Bush - go figure…what are the chances of that happening? Post a link to a scientifically correct poll that shows a 67% disapproval rate and a scientifically correct poll that shows 98% of the WORLD disapproves of Bush (is there a even “world” poll or could you making something up here? …however, this is hardly a world poll. 17 or 9% countries out of about 193. No where near a 98% lack of confidence/disapproval rating as indicated by the factless post above. Funny how some countries find the US favorable but lack confidence in Bush. If Bush was doing such a horrible job, then why are they dramatically different? Has Bush made mistakes…yes. Has every other President…yes. Will there be mistakes made in the future, you bet, by Bush and every other leader that will ever take the chance and lead. Can you really compare Presidents, no way. Different era & different circumstances. I would have hated to see how the US or world would have been if there was a 9/11 in Clinton’s term. Clinton probably would have made the mistake of not caring…oh wait…he already did that. Hat’s off to Bush for sticking by his decisions when he knew that they would just be thrown back in his face no matter what was decided. Instead of running off at the mouth, why don’t you run for President, win and then we can bash you? I don’t see your name in the papers for trying to do anything for this country. You have to read the newspaper and get other peoples opinions before you can form your own? So sad.. get a life. If you don’t like this country, move to Iran
