Marshall Thompson Update

A Soldier's PeaceSergeant Marshall Thompson is walking the length of Utah, one day for every 100 American soldiers who have died in Iraq. Marshall’s itinerary has been changed due to the unavoidable fact that the number of U.S. deaths in Iraq has risen to 2,800. Two walking days have been added, in St. George on November 1 and an additional day in Washington, DC.

Marshall is now in Panguitch, having walked 369 miles in 19 days. On Saturday, October 28 he will be passing through Zion National Park.

Everyone is especially invited to join the walk in St. George on Wednesday, November 1. If you can’t be there in person, you can make yourself count with “Balloons for Peace.”
