Kurt, I reserve the right to call Bullsh*t whenever and on whoever I please. Though there’s no real or rational requirement, you may be gentle henseforth, if that is your wish. Somehow I do not think that your posture will hold when you next hear from Cheney or Bush though. C.E.
If the new elected Democrats that ran as conservatives fulfill their promises and lead as conservatives then they will have my full support. After this election it has shown me that the Republican Party has abandoned many of its core conservative principles. Unfortunately, I fear that Nancy Pelosi and the MINO Harry Reid will rein in the Blue Dog Democrats and force them to vote the liberal party line.
If Democrats become more conservative and if the Republicans fail learn their lesson then the Democrats will remain in power for a long time, but if the Democrats feel they now have a mandate to impose a liberal agenda on the American people then their hold on Congress will be short lived..
Broken Record?? You sound like a bitter Deb circa 2004. I know, cause I was one of the same.
Why the negativity? Whay not support Dems and hope they can pull it off? Seems as though that was what Dems were encouraged to do years ago, to no obvious success.
Get over it, Ken. Feel the pain Dems felt in 2004. Question for you, Ken, is, however, whether you are willing to set the pain aside and work for the common good, or harbor the pain and hope for revenge.
Tell us, Ken. What are your plans and how do you feel?
Ken, don’t be mistaken. Yes, many of the newly elected Democrats are “Blue Dog Democrats,” or MODERATE Democrats. But they are still Democrats. They may not be liberal enough to support a living wage or universal health care, but they are likely to support raising the minimum wage, increased government help for health care, some environmental regulation, etc. If you are expecting them to be more conservative–whatever you believe the word to mean–than the Republicans, you will be disappointed.
Are people gentle with a croc after it has devoured a hapless person on the shore of the river? Typically, we either warn the prospective croc meals, or kill the croc.
Since many reps make their decisions based on fear, scare the be-jesus out of them. Have them consider being stripped of citizenship for supporting un-Constitutional leaders, make an example of some of the most powerful adherents, and grant clemency to the rest. Pushing a liberal social agenda will be the quickest way to become down and out for democrats.
Niceties occur after these events. I can see that some dems are already on the path to losing once again.
So what do you, cassandra, suggest? Identifying the problem is the easy part, and you always seem to be able to cross that hurdle. Now take it to the next step, and identify an agenda and process of achieving the ends of that agenda.
The fact that liberals don’t know what to do is just astounding. They are afraid of their own shadows. The next 2 years should be composed ENTIRELY of impeaching the pres and veep, then you automatically get the presidency with pelosi. nothing else. Are you guys dumb or what?*
Don’t you know who you are dealing with? dems may know how to score, but they sure don’t know much about winning. It will only take about a week for right wing cons, and evangelicals to forget all about this.
Chase the social agenda and be sure to lose. I can’t see trusting the country to people who now have the power and ask ME of all people what to do with it.
My post didn’t even register with you…I said scare the be-jesus out of them, PROSECUTE YOU LOSERS!!!
I wouldn’t take you fishing, you don’t seem to know how to land the hooked fish in the boat.
*Wouldn’t you rather gain the presidency on the FACTS of bushs’ treason, than arguing it on Fox 2 years from now?, Too dumb for words. Don’t you know your countrymen? Americans love VENGEANCE!!!!
I would venture to add the reason pelosi and dean won’t follow impeachment is because their own party is COMPLICIT with the disaster bush created, This means that WE the PEOPLE get screwed again. 6 months and the public will have fully turned on you, they are in no mood for democratic party BS.
Go ahead raise the minimum wage, deal with illegals, pull out of iraq, watch what happens. This is window dressing,… Americans want Justice, not consensus. You dems need a rove, someone just like him, that can lead you to victory on your own merits. If a rove can win all 3 branches with the minority based on manipulations and values, just think what could be done with the majoraty and truth which is the dems current capital… and someone with the political saavy like rove.
There is no point in trying to acheive consensus with the people the dems just beat. The American people don’t want that, they want blood. People are unneccessarily dead by these fools, PUNISH THEM, or look like the weaklings they appear to be.

It’s not bullying to call Ken incorrigible. This blowhard sleeps with his teeth clenched, such is his fear.
