Idaho’s Finest?
Bill Sali of Idaho is off to a roaring start as one of 13 new Republican congress critters. He showed up at the WRONG caucus meeting. He’s been voted President of the Freshman class of Republicans.
“If you want to debate this, I’ll put the House at ease and we can go back into my office and I’ll throw you out the window.” –Future U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson ®. Some members of the legislature recommended a higher floor. More quotes

Is this really the best Idaho has to offer?

I think Rep. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, the dermatologist elected to fill out Tom DeLay’s term, deserves some credit. Her laughably short congressional career began with insane optimism, but when she told her staff to draft an immigartion bill they all quit.

Sekula-Gibbs wins the award for nuttiest congress critter of the decade. And, the people who quit had worked for Tom Delay. How bad do you have to be to make TOM DELAY’ staff quit in protest!?

Oh dear, it only gets better re: Sali… $1 million in campaign donations from Club for Growth, fraudulent lawsuit, failure to pay taxes, abortion = breast cancer, rejected by his fellow Republicans, and NOW he’s the President of the Freshman GOP. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!

Great picture, I wonder what folly this generation of children that were never allowed to experience electricity rawly, will be making, as they don’t know the reality of it. This applies to many experiences that over safety conscious parents won’t allow. It is going to be an interesting future. This tendency to disallow some forms of education could lead to a population that does not even have basic understanding as to what makes them free.
That would the absolute right to stick your fork in the socket.
As Ben Franklin said “experience is the best teacher, and fools will learn by no other”.
