BAGHDAD, Iraq - At least 20 American service personnel were killed in military operations Saturday in one of the deadliest days for U.S. forces since the
Iraq war began, and authorities also announced two U.S. combat deaths from the previous day.

The day’s worst loss came from the crash of a U.S. Army helicopter northeast of Baghdad that killed 13 service members. An attack Saturday night blamed on militiamen in the city of Karbala killed five soldiers. Roadside bombs killed another soldier in the capital and one in Nineveh province north of Baghdad.

The military gave little information on the crash of the Black Hawk during good weather in Diyala province, where U.S. and Iraqi forces have been battling Sunni insurgents and Shiite militias around the city of Baqouba for months.

God Bless The Troops.

The deadliest day was years back, when a CH-47 Heavy Helo, stacked hard, and killed everyone on board.

It was claimed to be an accident, sure as shit, whole way round, inception, conception, execution. Like War.

    37 Dead.

Waiting for a 50 day to wake the comatose up.

    Waves of Fear.

Well I’m not waiting around for a 50 day. I am taking action. My little brother goes up in that bird and comes down in the Iraq desert it’s more than just losing another platoon of Marines to me. This is bull shit. We are told by msnbc.com that 4,000 additional Marines will go to Al Anbar to fight “Al-Qaeda”?

Al-Qaeda what the FUCK? That is fucking such bull shit Cliff. Fuck the United States of America. The basis of this country is corrupt and must will soon be tossed into the fire where the chaff belongs by Cosmic forces beyond the control of our Masters.

Fucking Al-Qaeda, “the Base” what a joke. These fucking Jack Ass Jackals need to all be fired and put to work picking up cluster bombs and land mines with their bare hands in Afghanistan. Operation Code Name: Al-Qaeda, our tax dollars at work.

Thanks Dick (head) Cheney for all the love you give to our Muslim extremist friends in Saudi Arabia. And the next time your by King Faud’s palace tell him thanks for all the cheap gas these years. And give yourselves a pat on the back for the global warming crisis all living things now face, but above all thanks for making such a swell covert oil empire agent like Osama Bin Laden.

Rot in Hell, You fuckity, fuck, fuck.

You all are extremely negative. It must be very difficult with all that negativity. I see no mention of all the positive accomplishments in Iraq. You all seem to just dwell on the negative. That is ok though, I realize it is easier to argue a point with only half the facts.

  6. Nephi Says:

    Anthony,

Stop being hoodwinked and wake up and smell the roses (burning roses, that is).

  7. Anthony Says:

Nephi what are you talking about, hoodwinked? It is you and your partners who are not informed. Try doing a little research. If you can not see that we are accomplishing our mission then you are in my opinion an idiot. Our mission may not be accomplished quickly, but it is being accomplished.

  8. cassandra Says:

False optimism is true pessimism, What is the mission Anthony? Putting the Iranian Shia into power in Iraq? Be specific about the mission. What are the goals?

  9. cassandra Says:

Negativity, if we do not succeed then the 20 are lost for nothing. Sun Tzu says the greatest warriors conquer their foes without battle, I submit you go to battle for someone elses money, risking death, and low pay.

Anthony what’s your gig? You a soldier?

Terri and CJ, this is for you, if I wanted attention I sure as hell wouldn’t be on ASP. Nobody reads it. Anyone important anyway. It is a self validation site, I understand, there could be no way you could be in Iraq without it. It is a classic example of the psychological phenomena of cognitive consonance.

I could have stayed there forever onsite, and will be back, but it is boring to deal with people with no reference to the reality we are paying for. My main beef is that for what were paying as taxpayers, we get bullshit in return. To think your life is made off of my dime.

Soon enough civilians will take over after the pres goes, we will leave, and the tide of the arab world will wash over all we have built and destroyed. Just the way it goes over there. It’s over, over there, you just don’t know it. The sacrifice will be of little value, which is sad for all of us.

Anyway I learned what I wanted to, thanks, and with sincerity, no hard feelings. Hawk is correct about your hypocrisy, would be glad to be myself over there, but you guys can’t handle it, like that movie with Jack Nicholson.

Terri I agree with g. gordon liddy, that prison guards are the lowest form of life on Earth. I’ll be back from time to time. Wake up! Abu Graib happens here. Even if it didn’t, the fact that people are sodomized and we don’t stop it in prison speaks volumes. Not lost on anyone on Earth. We are quite uncivilized.

I just heard about a guy getting his head popped off. That’s pretty positive.

  12. Richard Warnick Says:

Maybe we should save some grief and anger for what’s coming. There are three options for U.S. forces: (1) withdraw from Iraq, (2) try to ally with the Shiites against the Sunnis and (3) try to fight against both Arab factions at once. It looked to me like Bush wanted to go with the second option. The recent Karbala attack might mean we’re stuck with the third option.

The intelligence estimates of the numbers of Iraqi insurgents have gone up and up for years. Now there are about 20,000 Sunni insurgents and 40,000 in the Mahdi Army (just one of the Shia militias). There weren’t nearly as many in the spring of 2004, the last time our forces were up against both these armies at the same time.

Our Iraqi enemies are everywhere and nowhere, they can initiate combat at a time and place of their choosing. They have thoroughly infiltrated the government, police and military. They have complete knowledge of American tactics. Our soldiers are stting ducks. Unless we get them out.

By the powers vested in him by the Great Constitution of the U.S., George W. Bush, has declared today to be the National Sanctity of Life Day.

I guess that tomorrow, having got that particular quirky notion behind him, it’ll be back to the course of destruction of Life around the globe. What say George?
