Let’s see now…. The happy one?

  2. Cliff Lyon Says:

Ding ding ding! You win! Outraged.

    What gave it away?

Was it that he is the only one smiling?

…or was it his affinity for Fox TV and the requisite idolatry of Hollywood characters who hate him and everything he represents in real life?

  3. Terri Says:

All I can say is I’m proud of Corporal M for being willing to fight. He is the most qualified to pull the trigger on the evil diaper heads.

If he won’t do it, who will?

  4. Andys' WHIP!!! Says:

    Silly girl!

I WILL!!, and it is with no joy or pride. Killing is a filthy, dirty, business, in which ones soul may be forfeit. Tis no trifle.

Going to war should be conducted with a funeral demeanor, for that truly is what it is to become once engaged.

Positive displays of emotion upon destruction of the enemy, are the sign of a sick mind, not fit for anything but fodder!! Should any of my boys engage in such sickness, I will well rent their back with a bullwhip!!

  5. Nephi Says:

“Positive displays of emotion upon destruction of the enemy, are the sign of a sick mind, not fit for anything but fodder!!”

Hmmm … the CIC comes to mind, smirkin’ and all while challenging insurgents to “bring ‘em on” on “Mission Accomplished Day.”

  6. Caveat Says:

Yes, but over here in television land, the air is clear, and you can blow em away all day long and not even break a sweat. The beauty of having the wars over there!

Later folks, Terri and I have a date at the Mall.

  7. Richard Warnick Says:

What are they talking about? It’s common knowledge that Battlestar Galactica is the best show on TV.

  8. Jeremy Says:

Sweet! Richard and I finally agree on something!!!

  9. Cpl M Says:

    Cliff,

I’ve noticed a trend over the last few articles you’ve posted about ASP. The trend is quite easy to see, but I didn’t see it until the drive home from work today.

You entire fascination with ASP is for one purpose; attention. I don’t know why you crave such attention, but it can’t be healthy. Each post goes further and further into the realm of the disgusting, and my disbelief has grown as well. This post where you and Outraged call me a killer is proof of that.

I want to make something crystal clear. I have not ever killed person. My MOS is not directly combat related. It is very possible that I will never fire my weapon at another live person. My upcoming deployment to Iraq is that of a support role. I will work to keep the best and the brightest Marines in my beloved Corps that they can continue the good things we are doing. Those are the facts. They are indisputable.

Any further attempts you make to insult anyone associated with ASP will fall on “deaf ears.” I am going to post this entire comment on ASP, and I’ll further recommend that we all move on with our lives. We must put the childish acts of you and the rest of One Utah behind us and focus on what really matters to us. It is something that you and a lot of other Americans don’t dare to do; bring to light the good things our military is doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, and across the globe. Despite what anyone thinks of the war, there are a lot of great things happening that don’t get enough attention.

I wish you all the best of luck.

    Cpl M

  10. Cliff Lyon Says:

    Cpl M,

I’m a bit surprised by your machinations to figure out why I haunt you like a bad habit and it has nothing to do with wanting attention. our traffic at OU is ten times yours.

I have explained many times why I haunt you and I have been direct, clear, and honest. You seem not to understand pretty much anything that is right in front of you.

For example, my referring to you as a killer is meant metaphorically. Look it up and then tell me you are not a “killer.”

  11. Another CJ Says:

Cliff - your an idiot. Sorry for not following orders Cpl M but it had to be said. Thank the Lord your not Mormon. You would give me a bad freakin’ name. I hope the Lord burns Utah to the ground first. Hope you and Rocky have a wonderful life together.

    Chad

  12. Cliff Lyon Says:

A Cj,You mean *you’re* an idiot, unless you meant to say you are my idiot.

…same mistake in “Thank the Lord your not Mormon.” I think you mean:Thank the Lord *you’re* not Mormon.

I don;t get the Mormon thing and burning Utah.

    Help?

  13. Anthony Says:

Cliff your stupidity continues to astound me. In an attempt to use a “BIG” word to sound smarter, you have managed to use it in a very strange and incorrect way.

    Machination:
    1. The act of plotting.
    2. A crafty scheme or cunning design for the accomplishment of a sinister end.

Just thought I’d mention that, your such a stickler for proper grammar and such.

  14. Anthony Says:

You’re welcome, I threw in your favorite at the bottom of the post. Your/You’re.

  15. Outraged [former] Repug Says:

Looks like ASP is going back to “stick my head in the sand mode.” Cpl.M is illustrating classic denial. They cannot respond to facts, so they chose not to respond at all. Classic Redstate.com non-response. Close down the kitchen, ASP, if you can’t take the heat.

BTW, do I detect an admission that Cpl.M is a pussy? All this time I thought he was on the battlefield, only to find out he is a mere pencil pusher - a Marine Pencil Pusher.

  16. Richard Warnick Says:

Why am I not surprised to find out that some of the biggest war supporters are REMFs? For those not familiar with military acronyms, the first two letters stand for “rear echelon” and the rest I leave to your imagination.

  17. Waves of Fear » A Turdball If Ever There Were! Says:

[...] Dickus once again displayed just what a rotten asshole he is during an interview with Wolf Blitzer last week. See here, or here. Cheney described as “hogwash” the assertion that blunders may have cost BushCo credibility. This occurring, of course, while the five-deferrment Cheney is heading the plan to send an additional 20,000-plus troops into Iraq (with an additional 20,000-plus or so following as support, including ASP’s very own Cpl.M). [...]

  18. Outraged [former] Repug Says:

For Christ sakes! Not only do these gasbags censor information that they disagree with, they refuse even to allow commentary concerning OneUtah - http://www.soldiersperspective.us/2007/01/31/the-last-of-oneutah/.

Cliff’s earlier post about RWBs is being proved, not by liberal or progressive bloggers, but by the gasbags themselves!

  19. Cliff Lyon Says:

    Cpl M,

We were sitting around talking about you, when someone reminded us you are desk jocky. One of my friends is an ex-Marine.

He said to call you a “pogue.”

He won’t tell me what it means.

  20. Diane Says:

I don’t read ASP, so I am a little lost here. Your feelings on the war aside. Why are you obsessed with this guy? I’ve seen him mentioned in other posts and I don’t get it. You love pointing out that you have a much bigger following. You love picking on his (and I assume, his friends) grammar, spelling, etc. First you call him a killer. Now you are taunting him for not being on the front line. You hold him in comtempt, yet you can’t stop blogging about him. Why?

  21. Cliff Lyon Says:

Diane, I could give you a variety of reasons. But I’ll leave you with one. ASP is a classic self-validating cluster f&%k where everybody agrees with everybody else in their mutual conviction that everything Bush says is right because…well just because.

I believe it is my job to remind them that they lack the critical thinking to support their goup consensus that military force is the ONLY answer to the world’s problems (imagined or real) and that every policy of Bush is right because it offends dangerous thinking progressives.

Its not that they CAN’T think, but rather that they choose not to because they are tribal authoritarians and for them loyalty is a gretaer virtue than the posession of objective truth. They represent the single biggest threat facing our country today.

They are the same kind of fringe deviants that facilitated the rise of Hitler.

    K?

  22. The Gay Anthony Says:

I have 4 people that post on my blog, that way I can keep track of them all. It’s as high as I can count.
