Joe Scarborough Blows a Gasket

“I’m more conservative than Bush will ever be.”

Now, there’s a conservative I can live with.

I’ve been watching Scarborough, too. He’s not entirely unreasonable.

Pat is the King, and like him or not, he has the highest percentage of being absolutely correct of any pundit, as time proves out.

  3. Caveat Says:

Not unreasonable, but still steeped in appealing to the nuttery.

“Now, there’s a conservative I can live with.”

Because he is anti-war? Because he is angry with Bush?

    Diane,

No, but rather because he is a genuine conservative. Bush has never been a conservative, but merely a panderer to those who are and who think he is. He plays the patriotism card way too often, and he plays the God card whenever he thinks he can get away with it. I really don’t think a God-fearing and patriotic man would have tried to get away with what he did.

Since coming back from Iraq where I was a soldier first and a politician last, to having been home where I can analyze what really has gone on, I could spit on Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld for fabricating intelligence, thinking it would be a cake walk, and having NO PLAN.

Even those who disagree whether we should have ever been there in the first place would agree that we would be in a much better situation had we had an administration that looked at practical conflict scenarios enough to make a post-invasion plan and that cared about a people enough to understand their culture and history.

Joe Scarborough is right. And he has every right to blow a gasket.

    Diane,

    What Frank said.
