Proof Bush Lied to Congress and America - Introduction

It has come to my attention that a few American citizens current employed by the Military and US Government continue to believe Bush did not knowingly lie to the Congress and the American people in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq.

To be more specific Mommabird and Republog have brought this fact to my attention. They of course are not alone.

I have decided therefore to publish a series called “Proof Bush Lied to Congress and America”, one for each documented proof of each lie and one per day beginning today.

I do this for my country inspired by the fact that so many American who claim to be American Patriots, deserve to understand the truth and in doing so deepen their understanding of what it means to be a true Patriot.

Last night Republog said this:

The President is not the only one who took us to war you bafoon. I believe congress voted for the war without question. The information the President was provided was completed by thousands of civil intelligence officers worldwide all of different political backgrounds and are sworn loyal Americans. (here)

The answer is no, I do not believe we were lied to. I believe our foreign service professionals provided him all the information, and they are loyal americans. (here)

And from the same IP address inside a government facility in Virginia, Mommabird said:

At our home, an American flag, as always, will proudly and properly display, stars up, not down; for freedom, unity, and faith. (here)

The question then becomes, is it patriotic to support a president who lied us into an illegal war?

I looked up “buffoon” in the dictionary to check the spelling, and there was a picture of Bush.

  2. Mr veat Says:

If bush ever did tell the truth, he’d wash his mouth out with soap, that’s the kind of guy he is.

hhaha, that is funny, bossy the cow is a spook! A dumb fucker too.

They’re both personable in a virtual sort of way though, don’t ya think? I mean it was only a matter of time till we’d all be invited over for coffee and a view of the flag. Somebody’s got to be swayed by the oft repeated lie. Could be situational.

The key piece of evidence for WMD’s was the centrifuges that intelligence indicated Iraq did have. The Bush administration KNEW that these particular centrifuges were the wrong size/caliber for chemical or biological weapons, and yet proceeded to tell all of us that these, were infact, part of an ongoing WMD program.

That, my friends, is a lie. A lie is any communication with the intention of deception.

So when the defenders of the Bush War Policy ask us all to “just give the surge a chance”, I say no. You lack the credibility to be “given a chance”. Just a like a wise woman who has been battered repeatedly by her spouse should reject a plea for “another chance”, so should we the American people say no to any plea for trust or credibility from this Administration.

    JUST SAY NO.

We’re not beating it to death, bush being a liar are we?

Cav, we would be invited to all the tea in china and would view the plastic flag there too, also from china.

Cliff– the “Part One” link is broken. Don’t forget to mention the White House Iraq Group (WHIG), the people who invented the catch phrase, “the smoking gun could be a mushroom cloud.” WHIG was chaired by Karl Rove, and members included Karen Hughes, Mary Matalin, Andrew Card, Condoleezza Rice, Stephen Hadley and “Scooter” Libby.
