Political Blogs like “One Utah” are becoming Heavyweights

On yesterday’s PBS News, Michael Cornfield of politico.com reported that the Internet played a major role in the defeat of George Allen in Virginia.

He also reports that so far in the Presidential campaign candidates have invested ONLY $ 2.5 Million in Internet presence, and as a result have received between $ 20 and $ 30 Million in contributions. That’s a ten to one return on internet investement.

Congratulations to Cliff Lyon, his authors and readers.

I love blogs. Their popularity are determined purely by market principles. Anyone can make one, and if they suck on one reads them and they die, and if they’re great (like OU) they flourish.

It’s as American as it gets.

I don’t know about it becoming a heavyweight, but she sure has some fat ankles.

OU isn’t fat…. she’s just big boned, and besides she has a sweet spirit!
