The Marriage Between Bush Regime & Corporate Media Kingpins

As OneUtah author Richard Warnick posted previously, tonight, the History Channel will be airing a two-hour special on “9/11 conspiracies.”

The History Channel is a joint venture of Hearst Corporation, Disney, NBC, and a subsidiary of News Corp called Sky News.

It should be noted that the privatly held Hearst Corporation also owns Popular Mechanics Magazine which published the only known published attempt by a 3rd party to defend the Bush administration’s version of the 9/11 attacks against morass of people and organization who have challenged the administrations version, the 9/11Commission Report.

The program will include an interview with James Meigs, formerly of the editorial staff of Entertainment Weekly and the equally respected Video Review.

What you will most definitely NOT see, are interviews much less mention of, the very many named credentialed scholars, engineers, architects and scientists who have come out publicly to challenge the US government’s story.

Up until several days ago, the History Channel website announcing the show read, “As outrageous as these ideas may sound, many people believe them.” (screen shot) That language has now been removed.

Be sure to check in  to witness Corporate/government collusion in the art of deceptive propaganda designed to lull us all into peaceful obedience.

Then you decide.  Are we really free?

Try to defy the elite in real terms, and find out. The Arabs have tapped into something that absolutely terrifies the elites. Eric Fromm once wrote that what it is your enemy uses to terrify you, is in fact what he/she is terrified of. So if bush is the enemy of the American people, and he is using the threat of terror to terrify and manipulate us, it is clear he fears terrorism more than an upset population.

Why? Well it is quite obvious that “terrorists” are really capable of de-legitimizing the elites, by simply giving up their lives in attacks. they know we likely never will. That their commitment is non negotiable is not arguable It is also why bush is so paranoid and cities basically shut down when he and his arrive. bush and the elites he represents has absolutely nothing to fear from us, it is quite apparent that the US public is pretty limp and flaccid, without any ability to alter what these people have done. Or we would have done it by now. Furthermore, the elites will simply change styles in letting democrats rule us for a while. Our wars have historically been a bi-partisan affair, the elites take turns letting the left and right start them. They hopefully last forever, as it makes the public malleable, and also makes fortunes.

Pretty sad, that despite the most credentialed people on Earth all sporting their sheepskins(BAAAAA…AAAA), cannot seem to accomplish what the Iraqi insurgency has done with some old artillery rounds and small arms, de-legitimize bush by kicking his sorry assed plans of the elite all over the desert. They did not paln on the insurgencies cunning and dedication, figured they’d roll over, like we all did.

    Cliff:

Thanks for the info on all of the discredited organizations that are putting this on the air. I’m going to watch it if it recorded OK tonight, but it’s nice to have a idea of just how silly it’s bound to be. It will give the conspiracy nuts on the side of the government a lot of talking points they can use to shut down a conversation about the matter before running away like they always do. It always makes them feel like they’ve won the argument when they shout out their opinion and cut you off.

Comcast is almost worthless because the only decent channels you can get are the comedy channel and C-Span 1 and 2. I keep hearing they are trying to get rid of C-Span in a lot of the country and just won’t let us have C-Span 3 even though there all multiple shopping channels.

    Sorry Philo.

    Farnsworth, that is.

Cliff, other than administration officials such as Condi Rice, I have never heard anyone “defend the Bush administration’s version of the 9/11 attacks.” The 9/11 Commission report was highly critical of the Bush administration, which is why Bush fought the creation of the commission for a year and then offered only limited cooperation.

As for the “morass of people,” the History Channel program honestly pointed out that polls show increasing public support of either the LIHOP or MIHOP conspiracy theories, from 13% right after the 9/11 attacks to 36% after the Iraq fiasco got going. Lots of people are unhappy with messy, chaotic real events and seek alternative stories that appear to make more sense. They want to believe the myth of hyper-competent government even if it’s made up of James Bond villains.

The sad truth is, our government is staffed by fallible, sometimes lazy and incompetent people. The Bush administration may be the worst example of this in our history.

Two hours of “experts” snickering at “conspiracy theorists” just doesn’t affect my opinion that our government wanted 911 to happen and really did nothing to stop it or actually helped it happen.

Nothing about the conflicts of interest of the entire 911 commission.
Nothing about Coleen Rowley’s trying to get somebody to do something.
Nothing about senators Max Cleland and Bob Graham rejecting an invitation to be on the committee because of questions, ect…

  6. Tom Says:

There’s only one important question concerning the attacks, did the US gov’t allow/participate in 9/11?

The answer to that query would explain the illegal wire-taps, suspension of habeas corpus, banning of books like “America Deceived” from Amazon, detaining of dissenters in fences miles away from events, and multiple wars based on lies.

How can the gov’t be innocent in 9/11 when we have caught it lying so many times (WACO, Ruby Ridge, no WMDs, USS Liberty, Operation Northwoods, Gulf of Tonkin, Pearl Harbor, ETC.)?

In law, if you determine a person lies ONCE during his testimony, it can be assumed that he lied in the remainder of his testimony. How come we do not hold the gov’t to the same standard as it holds us to?

The gov’t lied to us about Iraq and more Americans have died there than in 9/11. If the gov’t lied about Iraq then why is everyone so reluctant to believe that the gov’t lied about 9/11?

Final link (before Google Books bends to pressure and drops the title):
    America Deceived (book)

  7. Richard Warnick Says:

Of course, whether the Bush administration has lied about the 9/11 attacks and whether they were part of a conspiracy to facilitate the attacks as a “false flag” operation are two separate questions. Answering “yes” to the first doesn’t logically mean the answer to the second can’t be “no.”

Here’s a working link to America Deceived on Amazon. I suggest reading the reviews before buying the book (for $221.99)!
