A Compelling Case For Impeachment
Rocky’s presentation on impeachment is now online at:Â Compelling Case for Impeachment
If you haven’t seen it, I also recommend watching how Rocky spanked Bill O’Reilly on his very own Faux News program. Rocky Anderson Spanks Bill O’Reilly.
I think Bill thought he was gonna had up some small mountain-town mayor for an easy kill. Not so Bill O.

Based on some things that Alberto Gonzales said while I was away at the war, I’m starting to agree with you more and more.
August 28th, 2007 at 7:48 pm
Frank, go pluck the chickens, I’ll boil the TAR!
August 28th, 2007 at 11:20 pm
I am ashamed that most Utahn’s prefer to demean Rocky as opposed to seeing how perfect his case for impeachment is. Orrin Hatch and Jim Hansen can go as crazy as they wish and everybody thinks it’s fine, but when Rocky stands up against pure folly, Utah thinks he’s gone too far. Why can’t we seem to stand up for the people who are trying to help us and get rid of the people who rob us.
I can see why they get mad at me with my sign. I used to be polite with it but became very impatient after a couple of years carrying it. Now I get right up in their faces if they get in mine. I simply want justice and I want it now. We have waited long enough for this nightmare to end.

If Bush isn’t impeached, then impeachment is off the table forever. No future president has anything to fear, no matter what. And the United States of America will never be the same.
Rocky puts it more eloquently:
August 29th, 2007 at 2:00 pm
Richard and Larry (and Rocky):
I don’t always, but at least for this once I completely agree.
August 29th, 2007 at 3:57 pm
What Frank says.
August 29th, 2007 at 11:54 pm
Thanks Frank. Yesterday I had a man who identified himself as a commander in the Iraq war stop to tell me that he and his men knew what Bush was up to and thanked me emphatically for my lone protest. That’s all I need.
He is by no means the first serviceman to give me praise on the streets here, but possibly the highest ranking one.
Let me know what you think of Carter’s book when you finish it. I thought it was really gutsy and eye opening. They can’t stop a president from getting his viewpoint out and from what I hear, he is pretty popular around here.
I wish the media around here would make amends with Rocky and take his lead on this matter. I would be so proud to see my home state take it’s values off the endangered list and help bring the constitutional rule of law back to the land we love.
August 30th, 2007 at 8:26 am
Amen,
I think it time for you to write another top post about your experience with returning Utah Iraq veterans and veteran officers who will or can only express their honest thought AND THOSE OF THEIR COMRADES to a lone man walking around Salt Lake with and impeach Bush sign.
I know deep in my gut that there is a HUGE DISCONNECT between what our serving soldiers think and what they can say, largly as the result of these kinds of deluded killers.
August 31st, 2007 at 10:57 pm
Cliff:
I am very uncomfortable with using the military men who fight Bush’s war as props to promote my leftist views. I am working long hours at my corporate job because I care about the people I work with and don’t ever want to have to beg for a living, but am thinking of ways to tell my story without bringing these true hero’s who fight for us, but are finding out that they may be fighting for people who tell us that they are an empire, and they will decide and mandate what reality is.
- - - - - - - - -
No army in history has fought a harder war then this! ALL OF THEM will somehow be vindicated. If there is any justice left in the world, ALL OF THEM will be vindicated!
- - - - - - - - - -
But impeachment is apparently “off the table”
Expletive.

So you are a sucker?
September 1st, 2007 at 10:29 am
I sympathize with US soldiers of today, but really Larry, tell it to the Soviets and Germans that fought on the Eastern front. Iraq is a cakewalk, compared to that. The incidence of battles where 4000 men were lost in an hour are pretty legion. Perspective. This isn’t a hard war, and you won’t get shot for simply dropping your weapons and refusing to continue, like Germans and Russians both were by their officer corps.
You think they are fighting for us?, many of the people fighting don’t believe this.
It’s indicative of how weak, and soft, we have become. Now the world has to fear from us is getting nuked. Many have what they need now to bring right home to us.
September 1st, 2007 at 5:15 pm
Now if bushie and big time do some nukin’ wouldn’t that put a kink in your equation? Seems to me that these people, given thier history are just crazy enough. The theater is already strewn with DU and hundreds of thousands if not millions of dead. They have our image to protect. What have they got to lose?
September 1st, 2007 at 5:35 pm
Any of the soldiers that are paying attention fighting in Iraq know they are not fighting a just war. That’s damn hard glenn. Usually, you get to think you’re fighting for the right side and not the biggest bunch of worthless crooks ever to walk the earth.
September 1st, 2007 at 8:44 pm
Uh, you must have noticed the bearing of Russia and China, they would respond, so we are back at mutually assured destruction Cav, which worked for 60 years, and still will. I think I pointed out the DU effect here, quite some time ago, with its half life of 4.5 billion years we’ll get our share. The effects of DU have been known since clinton bombed the shit out of Yugoslavia, so why blame bush? He’s an idiot, and clinton the supposed savior genius. So why pick side?, they all suck, and are basically psychopathic. I will never forget that scummy bitch albright saying it was “worth it”.
bush and his crew don’t have the guts. Bombing Iraq is one thing, mess with real countries and get it in the teeth. We have displayed our weakness big time, and many are making their preparations, and know how to play, and ‘aint skeered. What I would be more worried about in internal false flag operations. The enemy is within. Scared yet?
Like I said Larry, tell it to Russians under Stalin, or Germans under Hitler, fighting one another, there are no good sides in war, they all suck, just to lesser or greater degree of BS.
If bushfraud were the worst Larry, we would be in a camp by now, or dead. As I stated, their time is up, and the country is still standing. Iraq isn’t but if you want to lay blame, blame gutless democrats, we all knew what republicans were going to support. The shocker is being sold out by the dems the whole way. No shock to me, I support neither. Paul and Kucinich as the onlys, that I would allow into my world. The rest are worthless.
September 1st, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Then there is clinton doing jack shit about Rwanda. A real humanitarian. Wonder how thinking blacks consider his inactions?
It’s already ancient history, for the ADD nation…

There isn’t a Democrat around that isn’t horrified at how much power has been given to the Republicans, but there are also some good things happening. Howard Dean’s group, “Democracy For America” is going to be keeping a watch on election fraud and has been getting a lot of people to run for office that otherwise wouldn’t have. This is a long term plan that will pay off in a peaceful transition of government. I know time is running out and we are in grave danger, but I have to believe in something and I am not blinded to the good things the Democrats are trying to do. They have to dismantle a well organized and funded 40 year plan by the super-rich to deceive and confuse to American people. They are not succeeding as well as they were just two years ago. When the walls come tumbling down on them, it is going to happen quickly.
We certainly agree about Kucinich. He is a visionary and a very brave man who focuses on peaceful revolution. He has been a real asset to the voting integrity movement, but you’d never know it, because of, (you know), the media.
September 2nd, 2007 at 9:07 am
We all want peaceable change. With this crew of rats, I would advise a back up plan. General Strike, then… One way or another anyone elected will have to face the psychopathic entrenched, left and right. They are both known killers of anyone in the way.
Even if we get change elected the levers out of sight are still controlled by those that covet control. Monied interests, foreigners, the world elite that is allied only to their money, and the goon squads that enable them. The plan isn’t 40 years old, it’s 4000 years old, and it only just lately that Americans have noticed. The naive nature of young Americas’ perception of power, that we vote tyranny away is ridiculous.
Tyranny is a shape shifter, and no matter what one tries to do, you can bare tyranny out of the womb of family, no matter what you try to teach it.
Grow some hide, bare some teeth, and put fear into those that are doing same to you. Enemies of freedom will only stop when when their existence is in danger. Up until then, do you really think they fear the ballot box? This reality explains the 2nd amendment, and our founders penchant for putting the fear of god in tyrants.
Then again we don’t resemble them, what we have now is a snivelly population, that wants it easy. Just vote? Been there, done that. Easy…we past that exit a long time ago.
If you will not fight for your rights when you can easily win without bloodshed — if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly — then you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival.
There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. –Winston Churchill
“those who cast the votes mean nothing, those who count the votes mean everything”. Stalin.

Larry, Ken, Cliff, Richard, Glenn and all others who haunt this space. I’ve grown reading your ideas and surveying your courage. Thank you!

The Kucinich campaign is demanding answers from ABC who had a Democratic debate a couple of weeks ago and treated Dennis like he wasn’t there. In fact, they left him out of a picture taken of the other candidates. They also took down an online poll that showed Dennis winning the debate and put up a second poll that also showed Dennis winning. The poll disappeared completely after that.
I’m positive that the DLC Democrats had no problem with that poll being taken down. That’s why Howard Dean’s and Dennis Kucinich’s fight for honest voting is so important. If there wasn’t AN ABSOLUTE AND AIRTIGHT BLACKOUT OF ALL ELECTION FRAUD COVERAGE BY THE MEDIA we could have our county back.
Dean has said we shouldn’t be voting on ANY machine and should have a day off to vote. Kucinich had voting rights activist, Beverly Harris’s website brought back up after Diebold had it taken off the internet. You didn’t hear that story, did you? Beverly also sued Diebold twice and won both lawsuits before Utah committed to these terrible machines. I asked Lt. Governor Herbert about why he was even showing the Diebold machines knowing this and he didn’t think Diebold should be punished for a couple of mistakes. That is the problem.
Huge corporations ALWAYS win in Utah! Even when they are the only ones who have access to and count OUR VOTES. This problem has to be solved.
Peacefully and legally! Or as a last resort, unthinkably.
Come on Utah media, give us a hand here! Bruce Funk made Utah an epicenter of election fraud news and you gave Diebold all the positive coverage. Stop being an arm of the government and help us please!
September 2nd, 2007 at 4:14 pm
Dennis is a lot like that goddamn piece of paper on the shithouse floor that craig was referring to. The Constitution, valid, but invisible to current authorities.
Da fix is in, Dean or not…the time is over for silly talk, the time has come for the Freedom walk… general strike…the secret…is in the money.
Sad to know, isn’t it Larry?, that your neighbors will collude to put the rope around your neck for standing up for what’s right. Or worse, not care if they have a new ski boat. Ever wonder why I couldn’t live in Uselesstah? It has its own problems, but the air is fresher in Washington, it rains occasionally, in more ways that one.
September 3rd, 2007 at 12:10 pm
Thanks Caveat,
You are too kind and oh so patient.
Glenn,
Could you put a timeline on your doomsday scenario? “The time is over” and “the time is coming” and “gather your weapons” kinds of comments begin to lose some potency after so many years.
And pending that date, what can we do in the meantime?
September 3rd, 2007 at 1:46 pm
It’s not doomsday, it just the end of the Republic, quite sincerely Cliff ,just like Germans in the 30’s it is already here, just you don’t notice maybe. Arming up is simply what any sensible person might do given the bi-partisan nature of our leaders tendency to violate international law and kill people. We might do the Ghandi, others won’t.
In fact, no tyranny follows the same path, I fear ours has come, and is present without a whimper from the populace, total subjugation without violence. Sure isn’t the Rocky, Chuck Norris, Steven Segal version of America, is it?
The reality:
Defrauded elections
Watch what you say
loyal opposition complicity
the patriot act
constant war for elites, at the expense of innocents
pathological lying, from both sides of the aisle
declining living standard
declining lifespan(42nd in the world now)
illiterate youth(30th #$%^&*W@ place in international competency testing)
declining real wages
an ever increasing worth less currency
ever increasing military budgets
open lawlessness at all levels of society
foot tapping
aging demographic unable to prepare for lifes end, and a leadership that stands and watches
Foreign policy that generates hatred, and abandonment by former allies
a self made sovereign, answerable to no one
dangerous work environments, no labor laws
illegal aliens
an dying internal economy that produces extremely little
decaying infrastructure, and no tax base to pay for it
low wage jobs, no benefits
no knock searches, wiretapping
highest per capita prison population on Earth
crony based politics and economy
listless, shiftless opposition
cameras on school buses in Vermont!and everywhere else soon http://dvalnews.com/
out of control law enforcement
blackwater
The invisibility of that GODDAMN PIECE OF PAPER!!
What more do you wish? I know I have forgotten portions of the abomination.
The only stopping it is through general strike, the body of our government is corrupted at its core, and we have no access to the levers of control. Or revolution. The key is the money, once it goes bad(and it is) the rest of the tyranny will be quite easy to implement. Keep in mind that worst of the worst tyrants, all claim to socialists and communists for the benefit of the people in the beginning. I imagine if dems win with their current front runners, our civil rights will be eliminated further for our “own good” Huxley and Orwell is here.

Cliff do you imagine that this dictatorship does not have a worldwide component?
http://theorstrahyun.blogspot.com/2007/09/police-move-to-make-anti-bush-protests.html
Read this, and then respond. BTW regular Australians can’t have guns anymore, only criminals can. The people are totally subjugated there, but they can general strike. If you destroy the profits of the elites, the tyranny in them will come out. Work camps, any excuse to incarcerate and turn people into slave labor. It is already a going affair amongst the prisoners of our own country. Doomsday? Go to jail. You think that Abu Ghraib isn’t happening in our country to the domestic incarcerated? Where do you think the military goons learned it?
Of course israel has provided us guidance in humiliation torture.

Cliff, patience is the only thing I’ve got, lest I be disgusted into an inability to speak at all. Somehow I don’t think I’m alone there, but till the real corner is turned back towards citizen rule…it’s all I can do to post now and again. Somewhere in my thoughts, I fantasized that many Utahns had infiltrated the GOP so as to destroy it from within. Instead we got tagged with the REDest state in the nation moniker, and that sucks. That supposed reality has never stuck with me, I’ve really never had the impression that the majority of people I run into each day are all that lame or mean. There are some, I’ll grant but not that many. I’m detached, I’ll admit but…
See you all out there.
September 3rd, 2007 at 5:17 pm
Buck up soldier, be assured, there’ll be an accounting… or maybe this..
I sympathize with the feelings you have, and can understand your disappointment and shame, and your despondence…now…help me move this psychic HOWITZER into position!!
I hope you smile Cav!

: )
We got her pointed at the right target? Eh, Commander?
September 3rd, 2007 at 6:14 pm
Whut da ya think there?
You have to to know Cav, I have been drilling the troops to face the ENEMY, for a very long time now, whether they know it or not, I know their shit, and dish it up in a “safe” environment.
Sadly many of our ranks are susceptible to mind fuck, and I mean only to anneal those with the brine of reality, leather up, then, KNUCKLE UP!!! My barbs and whips, though painful, will never be lethal, that you can expect from the ENEMY, whilst our troops whine and weep.
I’m dead on target…NOW!… ATTENTION!…. FIRE THE WEAPON!!!
FER CHRIS’ SAKES, DON’T QUAIL ON US, WE ARE MEANT FOR FREEDOM!
OPENUPTHEWHUPASS!!!
