One more reason to really like Ralph Becker:
From the beginning, I have been energized by volunteers who
- walked to doors, listened and talked with City residents,
- planted (and replanted) lawn signs,
- gave financially,
- hosted and attended cottage meetings,
- stuffed and folded mailings, prepared and delivered literature,
- advised me on everything from my wardrobe to my presentation or an issue,
- brought refreshments and good cheer to our staff and volunteers, and
- created a spirit of optimism, humor, and success.
From the beginning, we’ve been energized by a candidate who:
- encouraged us to walk door to door and talk with our neighbors - a candidate who sat at the table in campaign HQ one saturday with us and said, “Well, let’s get to know each other a litte better. Glen, you’ve done this before? What a dozen times? Why don’t you start . . .”
- encouraged us to plant and replant lawn signs, to deliver them around town and visit our neighbors.
- motivated us to give financially
- motivated us to open conversations about the future of our city
- created a spirit of optimism, humor and success
- inspired us - as citizens, as volunteers - to believe we can make a difference and who led us in making a difference.
