Mike Huckabee is GAY!
If the recent disclosures about so many Republicans is any indication…
I don’t know whether people are born that way,†responded Huckabee, “but one thing I know, that the behavior one practices is a choice.
I suppose the same goes for being black.
This would be just down right evil if The Huckster were just anyone, but as a leading presidential candidate, this is frightening.
Update: Looks like the Huck a’ Homo is shriveling in the polls giving ground to God wanna be, Darth “Romney” Vader.
…according to a new McClatchy-MSNBC poll.
At the same time, Mitt Romney has regained the lead among Iowa Republicans as Mike Huckabee has lost momentum and support, even among the evangelical Christians who had propelled him into the top spot just weeks ago.

Cliff
Thankfully Mike Huckabee is proving to be a flash in the pan. I know Republicans have a penchant for self inflicted wounds, but nominating Huckabee would be political suicide. He is the most un-electable in the Republican field. I think a lot of conservative Christians glommed onto him early on because they assumed he was a conservative, being a baptist minister. However when you look at Huckabee’s record as Governor of Arkansas it is clear that except in the case of Abortion Mike Huckabee is not a conservative. He raised taxes and is for open boarders. Not even Rush Limbaugh likes him. I doubt Mike Huckabee will get much support at all outside of his evangelical “Christian” base, and it’s looking like he is losing that now that many have seen through him.
If certain people in the United States would get over their bigotry towards Mormons they would see that Mitt Romney really is the best man to be president. Mitt’s expertise is taking troubled companies and turning them around. This country could use someone like that right now. Just look how he turned the Olympics around.
The most important issue in this election is not the war, or the economy, or abortion, but it is keeping Hillary out of the oval office. Whoever can do that on the Republican side has my support. Romney, Giuliani, or McCain can beat Hillary, but I don’t think any of the others, especially Huckabee, have a chance.

The irony of Huckabee’s candidacy is that the evangelicals finally have a candidate who is perceived as one of them– as opposed to a typical GOP politician intent on using them on Election Day, but who then backs corporatism instead of the theocracy they crave.

Ken,
Well, golly gee, it is at least good to know that you now recognize this country needs some “turning around.” Next thing, you’ll come to appreciate that the group most responsible for the now-needed turning around is Bush/Cheney and their merry band of war criminal aides.

Ken,
“If certain people in the United States would get over their bigotry towards
Mormons” immigrants, we might rise beyond pond scum as a country.Hey Ken,
Tell me why Hillary Clinton must be kept out of office, and try to give me an intelligent well-founded and referenced argument that you would be proud to show a professor.
PS: Bigotry against Mormons. Don’t be such a cry baby white boy. And DO NOT misconstrue disgust with Mitt Romney as bigotry against Mormons. The Romney that ran for governor of MA might have had my support.
BTW: The LDS Church is hardly in the position to get too excited about bigotry (see women and blacks in the priesthood). “He who smelt it, dealt it.”
Maybe there is a Just God.

It is not illegal to be a mo, 1st amendment, Freedom of Assembly. It is however illegal to enter the United States, or any other nation, without the benefit of Customs or Immigration documents. No one in America is against legal immigration, apart from scofflaw racists like yourself. Plain and simple.
Just try to enter into a European nation under the guise of a better life without documentation and see where it gets you.
“Don’t be such a cry baby white boy”.
You are such a bigot and racist cliff, and ps. you must have eaten a dead skunk for dinner.
So if one says;
“Don’t be such a cry baby jew boy”, will it matter to you?
Getting a bit shrill in your posts, huh cliff?
Seeing the prospects of a democrat president shrivel up like any vestigial organ that has no fecundity? If the last year has proven anything, it is that democrats are not fit to rule. If a guy like bush can lead them off a CLIFF, then what are we to expect when they have no one to look toward?
Chris’sake, look out, guiliani could clean any dems clock, your best hope now is for edwards or algore to enter the race late, after the cryin’ is done. That won’t work BTW. Stick a fork in it, the dems blew it.

Why should hilary be kept from office? Whose references do you want, other than the electoral college?, Sorry, I don’t have any professors I speak to other than Ed, and he’s retired.
Other than she is unelectable as a practical matter? Or that no one likes her, and the presidency is a popularity contest, analogous to home coming queen, or class pres?
When my fiscal republican friends tell me that if no viable republican candidate comes to the fore, they will then vote for hilary, then she is clearly bought and paid for by our corporate leadership. She will no more end the war in Iraq, anymore than she opposed its inception. Remember, she has walked in goose step with bush?
She won’t challenge the health insurance industry, learned her lesson while unelected crony of the “is’ster”…so her reason for being Pres is ego based. She’s no Bhutto.
She is a terrible television presence and 4 years of her grim totalitarian visage will be bad for the Nations’ morale.
I can get a prof to sign up, just has to be a poli sci, or econ professor, that’d be EASY, especially in Utah.
