We’ve moved beyond Irony (Chris Buttars is an idiot edition)
It’s almost impossible to make fun of Chris Buttars - given his level of obvious stupidity, irony, sarcasm and satire fall short of the embarrassing reality of this bigoted little man who likes the rush of power he feels when people call him “Senator.”
In Buttars latest move to become the poster boy for bigots, he declared a bill was:
“This baby is black. It’s a dark, ugly thing.”
I don’t know what his problem is, I don’t actually care, but someone needs to put him out to pasture. (Oh, and I looked it up - the bill in question was SB48 - and he voted for it.)

Calling Chris Buttars an idiot is offensive to idiots. You might want to be more careful.

Good point, Obi.
I picked up a new term over at ksl.com recently that may be more appropriate for D. Chris Buttars: Chocolate Starfish!

Well, now that you mention it, I’m sure I heard that the national society for idiots has repudiated Chris Buttars.

Are you sure he isn’t an imbecile?
So how do people like him get elected?
Are we sure we like democracy of the plebiscite variety?
You have to get a license to drive a car, hunt and fish, and a whole host of other seemingly unimportant activities.
But to be placed into positions of power at the behest of grunting Neanderthals, all you need to do is be born.
I keep thinking of the geico insurance companies Caveman commercial, it’s so easy even a butt arse splat can do it.
Should we be surprised that geico is really the government employees insurance company? Cuz that’s what it is. Imagine, all those commercials are paid out of your tax dollars, and is a private company owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
Democracy, isn’t it grand? It can be tyranny of the stupid, and less than glamorous.

nbsp;ksl.com removed the news blurb on Buttars today - ksl must be feeling (i) sorry for his biggoted ass or (ii) somewhat beholden to him. Either way:

Some good commentary from the flock, many of whom come to the bigot’s defense.
