Fellow Utah political blogger Bob Aagard sent out an email today to the lefty utah blogosphere:
“So, I read in this morning’s Tribune that the Utah Eagle Forum had started a petition supporting Senator Chirs Buttars.
And so I thought I’d take a look at the petition. I found that 123 people had signed the pro-Buttars petition. That seemed weak for the all-mighty Eagle Forum.
So, I thought I’d create my own “We don’t support Chris Buttars” petition.
Please go and sign it, and spread the word (blogs, email, etc.)

I thought you might enjoy this one.
Very recent research in the United States has led to
the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to
science.
The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron,
16 assistant neutrons, 100 deputy neutrons, and 435
assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of
552.
These 552 particles are held together by forces called
morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of
lepton-like particles called peons.
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert;
however, it can be detected, because it impedes every
reaction with which it comes into contact.
A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction
that would normally take less than a second to take
from four days to four years to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; It
does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization
in which a portion of the assistant
neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase
over time, since each reorganization will cause more
morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some
scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed
whenever morons reach a critical level of
concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred
to as critical morass.
When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes
Administratium, an element that radiates just as much
energy as Governmentium since it has half as many
peons but twice as many morons….

Cute piece glenn, but great observation by caveat. It’s true, isn’t it. The government has been privatized, (emphasis on private.) It’s Bush’s private, failed business.

Larry please, it has been this way for well over 50 years now. The end of WW2 accelerated the process. Ike warned us, we didn’t listen. Now we are here. It has been bi-partisan negligence and complicity that has arrived us where we are today.
Historian Gabriel Kolko described it well in a book written in the 60’s. Here is a link describing the phenomena. He is often described as a “liberal” historian. I figure him just accurate and as objective as a human can be. It is the “revolving door” of business and government and the passing of laws and regs to serve the money and power. The people have not mattered in a very long time. Ask obamas’ skull and bones economic advisor goolsbee…how it’s going to “change”.
Sadly, it is just human nature to attribute the whole reality to a particular side that does not appeal to you. The fact is they are simple reflective sides of the same whole. The trap is believing in one better than the other. Your counterpart Larry is somewhere in West Jordan, knowing beyond any reasonable personal doubt that people like yourself are ruining “their” Country.
Read Hegel. He wrote the book on this system.

It seems to me that the ‘elites’, whose judgement is so much more in touch with the godhead than that of the rabble, have yet to realize; it is apon our backs they ride. When the price of a toilet seat exceeds our budget, we are likely to squat over a pit - and poof…there goes thier most wonderous ‘economy’. Now I happen to believe that they wouldn’t want to see that happen.They wouldn’t want too many of us rocking the boat, because they would tumble and sink if we did, and it would serve them right! In other words, it would behoove the ‘powers that be’ to nurture us just a little, cut the crap and to realize that it is really We the People who are holding this whole contraption together. Thier high and mighty BS ain’t cuttin’ it any more.
