So let’s see if we can put the focus on those with the power to bring to an end this political equivalent of a 50s horror movie (The Campaign That Just Won’t Die!): the superdelegates.
There are currently 212 uncommitted superdelegates (not counting Michigan and Florida). What are they waiting for?

Get off your butts. Quit dithering. It’s time you demonstrated you are worthy of the trust we’ve placed in you by making you super delegates, it’s time you took your role seriously. Help us unite our party and move into the general election against McSame as Bush. Declare for Obama and help us put Hillary’s destructive campaign to bed.

And while you’re at it Matheson, come out and publicly denounce and disassociate yourself from the phony ad that tells people to call your office demanding more wiretapping, that is if you WANT to disassociate yourself from it. Anybody paying attention knows that giving telecoms immunity from prosecution has nothing to do with keeping us safe. Quite the opposite!

I’d love the Obama-Edwards ticket - but Obama-Richardson and Obama-Napolitano are both even more exciting! I’m mean come on - everything I’ve heard about her says Napolitano is a kick ass governor!

So Hillary implied today that she is staying in the race just in case something happens to Obama like happened to Bobby Kennedy. If I was Obama I would stay far away from Fort Marcy Park.

I gather from your comment above that you would agree that Sen. Buttars’ statement, made on the Utah Senate floor a few months back, re the “dark, ugly thing” conclusively evidences his hatred toward blacks.

Great, Ken, then I’ll take that as an admission that you believe Buttars hates blacks; after all, based on your logic, what else could he possibly have meant!?!.

You know that isn’t true. I would never say anything like Buttars said because I don’t think that way. I don’t know what is in Chris Buttars heart but many people of Buttars generation were brought up believing blacks where inferior, they were taught that way. Many have not grown out of their upbringing even if they keep those thoughts to themselves, but occasionally it does come up to the surface.

Interesting comment, Ken. It makes me wonder … if Chris Buttars’ upbringing can have such an impact on his thoughts, given everything around him that suggests he is wrong, what about those brought up in the LDS faith, given everything around them that suggests the faith is a bogus cult??

In Ancient Rome people where being burned and crucified for believing in what they considered a bogus cult called Christianity. Moses lead a group of people out of Egypt that were considered a bogus cult by the Egyptians. Mohamed Began a religion that was considered a bogus cult in his day. Today we have the bogus cult of secular humanism, and the bogus cult of environmentalism. All movements and beliefs seem odd and peculiar to outsiders.
