That is the essence of liberalism. They believe it is the governments job to make them happy. Our declaration of Independence mentions our inalienable right of the pursuit of happiness, but it is our own personal pursuit, not something any government can give.

What a ridiculous comment, Ken, one that again suggests you spend far too much time listening to Hannity and Limbaugh.
At any rate, I am curious if you can concoct any kind of rational argument that supports your assertion that liberals believe it is the government’s job to make them happy.

The government’s job is to keep the plantation owners happy, and they’re kicking ass, but the plantation owners are always whining or paying people like Hannity millions of dollars to whine for three hours a day. Stop whining Ken.
