Proof OneUtah is Fair and Balanced
Mike Pence carried the water for the Bush administration in this hearing. Early on he quotes the Constitution on impeachment and concludes, “no one has accused the president of treason.”
He’s wrong. I do accuse this president of treason because he has admitted treason through words and actions. He should hang.
…know thine enemy….Mike Pence and his friends.

Free speech at work, good thing the armed citizens will be there to back you up should the goon squad come for you.
Sure beats a group of protesters packing signs, in a cage, at your “enemy combatant” trial.
What is that is said? Fire for effect!

The Constitution of the United States, Article III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. It’s true that Bush’s actions have given aid and comfort to Iran, however I think that was unintentional. Anyway, we’re not technically at war with Iran.
OTOH Rep. Pence surely knows that treason isn’t the only impeachable offense. The Constitution also cites bribery, and high crimes and misdemeanors. Nobody accused President Clinton of treason, but he was impeached.

Between Kucinich and Gravel, you have about the only members of the Democrat party with any sand, they have been at this juncture since the beginning.
As for impeachment, never happen, Pelosi saw to that.
Gravel says bush should be tried at the Hague, I seem to remember that not even our soldiers will be subjected to review at the Hague for war crimes.

I figure bush and co. own the Hague. It is only for little dictators, and then only little dictators that we don’t own. It has about as much power as the Idol triumvirate in this case.
J’accuse, at will, now it must reach the standard of beyond a reasonable doubt. That no democrat in the mainstream of the Democrat party touches this implies complicity, or fear of the consequences.
Either way bush is ten feet tall, and pisses on the lot of them, from a “considerable height”. Monty Python…search for the Holy Grail. It would seem that is what some in the party are searching upon.

Republican Bruce Fein gave a stunning opening statement. I’m not sure he still considers himself to be a Republican, but he is one of the best and bravest voices America has!
Watch your back Bruce!

Well I’ll be darned, my RealPlayer is working on C-Span’s video archives again. I don’t expect to ever get an answer as to why it quit working for three days after several people who made Rocky Anderson look Bush-friendly were finally allowed to vent UPSTAIRS at the capitol.
Glad to have you back C, but don’t ever do that again please.
