Fox News Met With With Profanity in Denver

Uh Oh. I would appear Fox New has finally met it’s own undoing.

Watch this video of a Fox News reporter trying to interview protesters at the first march of the convention. Listen carefully as Fox is met with nothing but F-bombs.

I do believe this is unprecedented, at least in my experience…that a major network is so hated so widely that no one will talk to them.

THATS the America I love.

An irrational reporter trying to interview irrational people. Results, predictable. If those protesters want to re-create 1968, they’ll also recreate a Republican victory in 2008.

That said, when you (Faux Pravda News) becomes the propaganda arm of the current regime, you shouldn’t be surprised when the people are mad at the regime, to also be mad at the propaganda arm.

  2. Richard Warnick Says:

The lack of respect is about equal on both sides, as Faux News admits that reporter Griff Jenkins was sent out to deliberately antagonize people.

  3. Who is watching the watchers Says:

Well don’t piss yourself with excitement Cliff, because this is the America that really bodes watching. If the body of democracy isn’t dead, it certainly is on life support.

    Never forget…Arbeit macht Frei.

You have to love the brother Sheriff, admonishing,

“we have to make sure we have our game plan set”.

Maybe they should buy some train cars to complete the motif.

Seems like the Democrat party convention is bringing all kinds of “change” already.

  4. Steve Urquhart Says:

F bombs and vitriol masquerading as political discourse; that’s the America you love? No wonder apathy reigns and the core is eroding.

  5. Larry Bergan Says:

This is as a result of the absolute disrespect and contempt Fox News has shown for the American people. I think it’s telling that no matter who the reporter talked to, the message was the same. It’s important to note that it’s all of the corporate media we’re mad at.

Come on Steve, we have to vent. The core is eroding because of the lies and ignorance of the media. They know what to do to stop it, and that is to STOP being an arm of a corrupt government. Let’s hope they do!

If we don’t have the right to vote and have those votes counted, it’s the responsibility of the press to inform us, not to lie about who won!

  6. Who is watching the watchers Says:

Looks like Project Paperclip is finally standing on two legs, for all to see.

  7. Larry Bergan Says:

One things for sure! If some Co-intel pro guy hits this reporter, Fox will blame the protesters even after it’s proven to be a lie. After all, they went to court to make sure they had the right to lie. As Bill Moyers likes to say, “I’m not making this up.”

Fox News and the other “News” organizations and the Republicans did this. Never forget!

  8. Who is watching the watchers Says:

Who do you think set this up Larry?

The cages for the protesters are not set up by republicans, the Democrat Party Convention cannot be sullied. That is the who and why of the cages Larry.

The protesters are protesting the complicity of the Democrats. They are not there to protest republicans, they are protesting Democrat collusion.

    Several shades beyond you Larry.

  9. Larry Bergan Says:

I’m not going to argue that the Democratic response to the Republican invasion of our country has resulted in some terrible strategies and leadership that thinks the way to win is to be like their enemies, but we have some great people in the party like Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy and Howard Dean as examples to follow. Somebody is always there telling our candidates to do the wrong thing, and I hope Barack will see that in time. For the most part, he has run a flawless campaign and I think this could be a true turning point for us.

One thing you won’t see is Republicans protesting at the Republican convention because of their incestuous politics, but that is going to be their undoing. They were going to be holding up their Obama tire gauges this time, but it looks like they wasted their precious money. Maybe they can do the purple finger thing again.

  10. Who is watching the watchers Says:

Howard Dean is the reason there is any chance at for McCain. He is the DNC dummy that let this get out of hand. He should be fired.

You are being comedic about Kennedy, I hope Larry?

Jimmy gimme a hammer Carter, is where our disaster in the middle east got hot. No one remembers the hostages, the crack up in the desert rescue plan, the 450 days of shame.

It all however goes back to ‘54 for Iran. No party gets away clean in the last century, no way, no how, they have all had a hand in our decline.

It isn’t even October yet Larry. Even money right now. It is going to be a sweat.

  11. Dwight Sheldon Adams Says:

Let’s just be clear the Recreate 68 is a radical group that is not necessarily or unilaterally in support of democrats.

    Remember the political position scale:
    Radical->liberal->moderate->conservative->reactionary

These are not liberal democrats. They are radicals, some calling themselves anarchists, some simply war protesters, some merely aligned with some democratic positions. The reason you won’t see Republican extremists at the Republican convention is because they are reactionaries, and many reactionaries spend their protest time loading guns, building bomb shelters, practicing wilderness survival, and hiding in churches.

There is no absolute nor superior qualification of either party at this point. There are enough variables sustaining and damning each one that there is no clear-cut correct choice. The best we can do is support ideals, not parties. Leave the parties in the minds of the brainwashed, where they belong.

Disclaimer: Condemnation of the reactionary position is not a condemnation of those who take part in similar activities (religious types, gun rights advocates, etc.) any more than condemnation of the radical position is a condemnation of the average protester.

Oh, and “Watcher”–is your name simply pretense, or are you a creative personality trying to turn political dialogue into art? Leave the high school all-inclusives club nomenclature with your role-playing group, ok?

  12. Larry Bergan Says:

Who, who stands for nothing and no one:

You don’t have the ability to support anyone because you’re so afraid you might have to recant your perfection in the future and you don’t even have a name. What is your problem?

Kennedy, Dean, and Carter all stood strongly against this war that is draining our country of lives, treasure, and a future with pride. What? Are you still upset about Kennedy’s tragic accident. Are you a Fox News fan?

  13. Larry Bergan Says:

    Dwight Sheldon Adams:

There is absolutely nothing radical about calling Fox News the worst name that pops into your mind. If any violence had broken out, those people would have been the first to stop it and the Fox News guys would have sat there, filmed, edited, and made it into the exact opposite of what it actually was. That is what they do. That’s why so many Americans can’t think and get jerked around by their patriotic appendages.

  14. Dwight Sheldon Adams Says:

Larry, “radical” does not mean “crazy,” “violent,” or anything else I believe you assume I am implying, any more than “moderate” means “lazy.” It is a position on the political spectrum that is as diverse as any. I’m not being derogatory in any way. I myself am radical in some areas, reactionary in others, and everything in-between.

I agree entirely with your statement about the deceptiveness of Fox News, as well as your judgments of He Who Has Too Little Courage To Profess Anything But Argues About Everything While Wrapped In the Security Blanket of Anonymity, but please do not assume that when I say “radical” I am demeaning them or predicting any particular kind of negative behavior from them. The group in question, however, has stated several radical positions. Their mission statement and behaviors are consistent with a radical place on the political spectrum. Hence my calling them “radical.”

“Who” wants to be important by being placed before everyone’s eyes, but he’s so afraid of being wrong that he wears a mask. Learn to accept some responsibility, Who. And here’s a secret for both you and Cliff: It’s ok to be wrong sometimes. It can even be respectable if you are willing to admit it.

  15. Larry Bergan Says:

I haven’t known what to think of “Recreate 68.” I thought it might be a group run by people who wanted violence to break out at the convention and Rush Limbaugh even said he wished for burning cars and such, but now that I’ve seen Cindy Sheehan and others I admire with the group, my fears are subdued. Cindy walks a fine line like Rocky Anderson. There is always a possibility things might get nasty even with careful planning, but those people have real guts.

The word radical certainly has been misused since the sixties and the word liberal has also been abused. Both have been redefined by war mongering killers in true Orwellian fashion.

As for Cliff: he likes to yank people’s chains, but you have to admit he’s really good at it and it’s a very effective tactic in interviews and debates to cut through the crap. There’s a universe of crap to cut through in our once respected country, and that relates intimately to the subject of this post.

    Fuck Fox News!

  16. Who is watching the watchers Says:

“Leave the high school all-inclusives club nomenclature with your role-playing group, ok”?

Dwight, if that made any sense, I might know what to say. Stick to the content, or are you too a bit transfixed by a name?

Larry, don’t let my apparent non support of anyone make you cry. Besides you don’t know who I support, because in this country it is a private manner if one wishes it to be. We still have a secret ballot.

If you wish to parade around with a sign and make it well known who you support, you, like Dwight are within your rights to conduct yourselves like that, and form a quasi high school glee club.

Dwight you aren’t here enough to know who I am. I have my reasons to remain “unknown”, and they are not your business. I don’t care who the hell you are Dwight, only concern myself with your content. I find it amusing that you feel the need to hector. If you find me wrong point it out. My purpose here isn’t to be responsible, or to satisfy anyones needs.

Sorry if you expect more, you don’t have that right, and won’t get it.

  17. Larry Bergan Says:

    Dwight Sheldon Adams:

Who doesn’t like having his cowardice to use a real name pointed out. He claims that he’s scared of his ex-wife.

  18. Who is watching the watchers Says:

    Who indeed Larry?

People like yourself who do not mind displaying the arrogance and puerility in their own name? If it is your name, I don’t know, and should what you have to say interest me, I would take the thoughts. No one gets “know” anyone via the internet.

You are content to believe and judge as you like, an extremely common practice of those with limited scope and vision. The behavior befits the intelligence.

As you know nothing of situations, you can be excused.

  19. jdberger Says:

One thing you won’t see is Republicans protesting at the Republican convention because of their incestuous politics, but that is going to be their undoing.

That would be because they all have to go to work, Larry. They have jobs, so they can make money that you can dream of redistributing to remedy the so called “income inequality”.

Your continued obsession with identity is spectacularly amusing.

  20. Larry Bergan Says:

    jdberger:

Working to destroy democracy and getting a paycheck isn’t a real job. Why don’t you get one. After a few years of honest hard work, maybe you’ll have enough self esteem to use a real name too.

  21. jdberger Says:

Larry, perhaps I conceal my identity so I won’t have to endure your spastic bigoted epithets.

You are forced to respond to the crux of my arguments instead of railing at me for being a “race traitor” or “gender traitor” or anathema to whatever identity group you see fit to classify me. ‘Cause, you see, Larry - I wouldn’t want you to think that I’m one of those “uppity” folks. - Right?

  22. Jenni Says:

Extreme right Fox news is surprised that lefties aren’t crazy about Obama? Obama is a centrist, but Fox likes to paint him as extreme left - they wouldn’t be so surprised if they had a little fairness and balance.

  23. Larry Bergan Says:

If Obama is on the “extreme left”, I wonder what that makes Ralph Nader in Fox’s eyes. Who cares! In a sane world, Ralph Nader would be included in the debates so America can see what reason looks like next to paid corporate political correctness.

I’m like all lefties, I want to vote for Nader, but I don’t want McCain to win, so I hate my life because I can’t vote my conscience.

  24. Dwight Sheldon Adams Says:

Who: Lexicons and thesauri can be highly facilitative in the comprehension of obscure verbiage. Use them if it’s really that hard to understand me. Common sense will, of course, work in a pinch. My reference was, of course, to clubs for people who cannot pass try-outs for anything else, who then take upon themselves alternate persona to avoid the misery of facing the reality of their true self. It’s neat, it’s cool, it’s very fun, and it belongs in a high school counselor’s office. Get over yourself.

As to my “hectoring:” once I determine that the credibility of an individual is questionable, “hectoring” becomes appropriate. I consider your posts a waste of time and a threat to the fair sharing of perspectives on this website. You have previously admitted to me that you are providing false information, you have refused to recant said information, you play devil’s advocate in regards to positions that are not defensible, and you are persistently pretentious and high-handed in your judgments and self presentation. Does that sum up why I would “hector” you, Who? It falls upon those sufficiently capable to bully the verbal bullies until they go away–or at least until others will see them for what they are. What little credibility you possess could be expressed in more productive ways (and, yes, despite your aversion to it, more RESPONSIBLE ways) and by different people. Your multiple personas are a waste of cyberflesh.

Besides, I’m not hectoring you; I’m heckling you, for I am the audience, and you put yourself on stage–poorly prepared for the performance you present.

You put yourself in your mask before a whole group of people, with a ridiculous, pretentious name, then you have the gall to tell me that I’m “transfixed by a name?” If you didn’t want people to be transfixed by it, you wouldn’t use it. And you wouldn’t switch your name around every 5 seconds. I’m sorry that the mystery in your short-term cleverness is gone, Who. Overused cleverness becomes a cumbersome cliche. Maybe you should use a morphologically ambiguous name if anonymity is really your goal. As it is, your attention-seeking behavior speaks for itself.

Oh, and I do have that right. I have every right to expect you to be respectful, honest, and responsible to your fellow human beings–especially those (such as myself) who were honest, respectful, and responsible to you in the past. You are a speck of a man hiding inside the machine. Productive discourse demands so much more of you than you are willing to offer.
