My gift to you. ‘ Pubs ‘ caught on tape saying how they really feel about Palin.
Huffington Post have outdone themselves having created the most complete coverage of Hottie 4 VP.
Somehow it feels like I am about to have one of those experiences — which have been happening with increasing frequency since Bush — the ones that remind you of the ole’ “Sometimes Truth is Stranger Than Fiction”. A week ago, you couldn’t have given me 1000 to 1 odds that the republicans and McCain would have picked this freak show as VP running mate.

Bob,
I guess you know, that picture was photo-shopped. She was really holding a Daisey BB gun.

Cliff,
I don’t know who is posting as me but that post with the picture was not from me. I would appreciate it being corrected or removed.
#5 by Cliff Lyon on September 3, 2008 - 7:12 pm
Sorry Bob S (or whomever you are) . I have no idea who is the real Bob, so it would be unfair to abide by your request to the real BobS.
#6 by Bob S. on September 3, 2008 - 7:24 pm
Cliff,
It should be very easy for you to determine simply by checking the IP address, the email listed, etc.
You’ve proven you’ve been able to identify people posting under different names before.
Why is this different, unless one of the admins perhaps yourself, is involved?
#7 by Richard Warnick on September 3, 2008 - 7:26 pm
Cliff– I was looking forward to live blogging Palin’s speech tonight. Now I’m not. Although these pictures are all over the Web it’s a shame to see them here.
#8 by Outraged [former] Repug on September 3, 2008 - 7:32 pm
My, my. The repugs are feasting on red-meat and wine tonight. Kinda reminds me of the Roman orgies of years ago, just before they were wiped off the map! Hold those thoughts, Rudy, we’ll revisit them with you following the debates.
#9 by Cliff Lyon on September 3, 2008 - 7:34 pm
There gone Richard. I’m sorry.
#10 by Bob S. on September 3, 2008 - 7:37 pm
Cliff,
Can you remove the picture falsely attributed to me?
You know I didn’t post that.

Hmmmm. Track is going to Iraq.
I wonder if he’ll last longer there than Prince Harry lasted in Afghanistan.

Never until tonight have I desired to eat the flag of the United States while reaching upward and firing a round at the same time.
Thank you, dude, thank you; my dreams will be nothing but patriotic tonight!!!

Man, listening to Sarah Palin makes be long for Kathleen Harris to revisit the spotlight. One thing is for certain, they’re both hot from the neck down, and dizzy everywhere else. Maybe the Republicans should take a “good” thing one step further, and form a Palin/Harris ticket … the white house would never smell the same again!
#18 by Tom on September 3, 2008 - 7:56 pm
This woman/speech re-defines hyperbole, fluff, and hot air.
#19 by Sarah Palin on September 3, 2008 - 7:57 pm
Who’s Kathleen Harris?
#20 by DMC Pundit on September 3, 2008 - 7:59 pm
They obviously they don’t have TV in the hole this woman came from.

Well, my verdict is in. McCain is just more of the same. Cynicism and lies. These people really must hate America.
#29 by Paul Mero on September 3, 2008 - 8:40 pm
I see you guys are scared as hell. But have no fear…with McCain Palin in the WH you’ll have an advocate for your special needs!!!
Game on.
#30 by Richard Warnick on September 3, 2008 - 8:43 pm
Palin did the job very well tonight, throwing gobs of red meat to the base. Incredibly, she even knocked Barack Obama for lack of experience, comparing his old job as a community organizer in Chicago to her old job as part-time mayor of Tiny Town. But independents are moving to Obama in droves, and the GOP base is down to 20 percent of the electorate.
Maybe Cliff should put the leather mini picture back up. The National Enquirer says Palin had an extramarital affair with her husband’s business partner. Sniff… Did someone burn the toast?
#31 by Albert O. on September 3, 2008 - 8:48 pm
Thanks for the laugh, Paul. After suffering through Palin’s speech, written weeks ago by writers who had never heard of Palin, I needed the humor.
#32 by Sarah Palin on September 3, 2008 - 8:52 pm
Paul? My Lover,
The only ones scareder than these guys are the Republicans.
#33 by Richard Warnick on September 3, 2008 - 9:06 pm
Let me recommend Bob Cesca’s liveblog over on HuffPo.
#34 by Albert O. on September 3, 2008 - 9:07 pm
Oops. Sorry, Paul, but you deserve a link to support my allegation that Palin did not write the speech that is now giving you September wood (if ya know what I mean, you full quiver dude, you).
#35 by Cameron on September 3, 2008 - 9:08 pm
The National Enquirer?
Sheesh. A new high for One Utah.
#36 by Richard Warnick on September 3, 2008 - 9:11 pm
Not long ago, the right seemed to really, really like the Enquirer for some reason. In fact, they said the MSM ought to follow their lead.
#37 by Richard Okelberry on September 3, 2008 - 10:38 pm
This is Great! Did I read correctly that Cliff refused to take down a post put up under another person’s name? Very bad for OneUtah’s Bog Rep… don’t you think? I wonder if Cliff would share the IP with us from the original post… I have a small suspicion about who it might have been…
Did you all see Rudy’s speech? Holy crap, it’s like he was swinging a baseball back at Obama’s head all night. And Palin… The way the media covered this tonight you would think she was running for president…What can I say, this race just got interesting… The laughing about the community organizer thing was pure comedy… Isn’t a community organizer someone who gets paid for doing what other people generally volunteer for? Ya know.. I just made that up… Man I may have to send that one into Palin for her next speech… Genius, I tell you!
Ya know, I can’t quite remember what Obama’s V.P. said during his speech… Oh that’s right… they had to put him on before Bill Clinton didn’t they? Hard to remember anything after listening to Bill… He’s just so sharp, and the way he bites his lower lip is just… Well I’ll say it… It’s magical… Too bad, maybe he can headline at the debates…
#38 by Richard Okelberry on September 3, 2008 - 10:42 pm
I forgot to ask… Seriously for the show tomorrow;
#39 by Anonymous on September 4, 2008 - 1:43 am
Richard – you nailed it…
funny , Palin’s speech – I was disappointed because I thought that I missed it, then there it was on CSPAN, and again on CNN, and again on MSNBC over and over again…
It’s almost like the media is treating her like a (gasp) CELEBRITY!
(She is, you know)
Why?
Because she IS America. She’s not some focus group version of America – or some Beltway version of America – and she sure ain’t the America who bought the whole John Kerry=War Hero shtick. She’s the folks that vote. And that scares the crap out of elitist “community organizers” like Obama and our dear maladroit Cliffy.
#40 by jdberger on September 4, 2008 - 10:44 am
Whoops – sorry. The above anon post is lil’ ole me.
Palin nails the speech and the best that lawyer Albert can come up with is that she had a speechwriter.
Wheee!
#41 by Albert O. on September 4, 2008 - 1:17 pm
jd:
Thank you for the concession!
You agree, apparently, that Palin’s speech-writers nailed the speech.
Bring out the Rovian dogs; this candidate for VP is going down.
#42 by jdberger on September 4, 2008 - 1:27 pm
They wrote it – she delivered it – and nailed it.
Oh, I know….Obama and Biden write their own speeches.
(Whoops – not Biden!)
