Utah Senator Steve Urquhart’s (last) News Flash
Hold me back. Steve “Attack Dog” Urquart (Sen UT-R St. George) has decided he is an expert in climate change science.
I’m giving him 24 hours to retract his arrogant, regurgitation of one of the most tired, global warming denier canards before I unleash the truth on OneUtah. And it won’t be pretty.
I am OVER the right-wing parrots and their manipulation of the American people and in tparticular, ALL OF MY fellow Utahns who will suffer at the hands of this lie.
I’ve tried to warn him. I’m not a happy camper these days…am I.
Steve Urguhart - /Ur-gu-hart/- is getting a little heady these days as the Bramble’s “attack dog” and needs to be brought down a notch or too, before he crashes and burns. Here’s just the latest example.

So, all who do not worship at the altar of man-made global warming and follow the holy writ of the one true profit Al Gore shall be burned?
And yes, I spelled that correctly.

My gift to you. ‘ Pubs ‘ caught on tape saying how they really feel about Palin.

You are going to love this Cliff, I went to the site you linked above and not only found his statements viable, I even posted the following, referencing a simular essay that I wrote a year and a half ago. Here’s my post:
“I wrote an essay about almost this exact thing but also tied Solar Mass Ejections to the failing magnetosphere as a potential cause for Global Warming. While the true intent of my essay was to illustrate how politics was meddling with science, the theory has yet to be disproven. Even today, science has failed to offer a reason why sun spot activity and solar ejections might raise the planets temperature, yet they know with certainty that it does. Still, they cling to the “solar constant” as the word of God when studying earth’s climate. You can read my essay titled, “Could Earth’s Magnetic Field be causing Global Warming?” written in February, 2007 at the following URL:” (linked to title above.)
I was hoping you could help dispel this “myth” that I have created.

Oh dear Richard. Are you really going to go for the “disprove it test”.
UNDER THE PORCH WITH YOU!
September 3rd, 2008 at 6:16 pm
Cliff,
I remember the last couple of times you’ve tried to take people to task….thinking Alan Korwin and John Lott.
Let’s be polite and say your efforts were less then entirely successful. Are you sure you want to take another charge at the windmills?

People will decide for themselves Bob. Certainly they will see the best defense the gun lobby has to offer.
September 3rd, 2008 at 6:38 pm
Come now Cliff, you can do better than that. After all we are talking science here. There is no reason to get involved emotionally.
My challenge is simple, open up the U.N. documents on Man Made Global Warming or any other published scientific journal from a credible source and pull out each reference that discounts solar mass ejections or the failing magnetosphere as a possible cause for global warming. This one is so easy…
I have even admitted in my essay that man may have contributed to global warming. I only ask that you show me that the scientific community has done it’s homework before coming to a “consensus.”
I’ll even give you the link to the UN web site.

I had a good chuckle reading Cliff’s self-important threats on Urquhart’s blog.
Cliff is clearly delusional if he thinks OneUtah.org is some kind of political hammer. I’m sure this blog is the shit as far as the people Cliff hangs out with are concerned. However, 99.5% of the state’s population has never heard of OneUtah.org, and a good portion of the remaining 0.5% realizes this blog is mainly a forum for angry, ranting, bitter liberals. Claims of political hammerism are quite the stretch.

Grasshopper,
In order to graduate the DMC, you must your mind and the mind of others. Do not cast a stone you cannot stand behind. Shhhhh.
September 3rd, 2008 at 7:03 pm
And that would prove exactly what Okelberryfart?
Perhaps you can provide me with every scientific journal article that “discounts” God’s existence.
September 3rd, 2008 at 7:04 pm
Just joshin ya with the ‘Fart” thing :)
September 4th, 2008 at 12:29 am
Did you just write “fart” at the end of someone’s name? You disagree with Richard Okelberry, and call him “Okelberryfart”?
I’m bummed. I had hoped that when the Grand Inquisitor came for me, he’d at least be a little sophisticated. A Hannibal Lector type. Instead, I get Chucky.
I don’t know you; so, if you really are crazy, seek help.
You know what? You are crazy. Seek help.
If you’re under 9 years old or something, I’m sorry to have publicly criticized you. From your picture, you look older.

Steve:
Did you rebut the allegations re climate change in your comment, above? Sorry, but working my way through your comment of hatred ran me off course. Perhaps you’ll come about and enlighten us.
September 4th, 2008 at 1:33 am
Cliff, you seem to make a point of storming after windmills - and each time you look more the fool. You’re starting to mak e Larry look stable.
But hey, live and let live. You go and don your “magic trousers of truth” and berate those who have more knowledge and wisdom and gravitas with your infantile fart jokes and bigoted efflorescence….
We’ll all grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.

yetanotheranonymouscoward:
I’m sorry, but after 30 years of watching Orrin Hatch’s veins bulging out of his neck and head, Jake Garn’s red faced tirades and Jim Hanson’s wild eyed attacks, I just can’t muster the pleasant, calm demeaner of somebody like Governor Don Siegelman, who spent years in jail for having the audacity to run for office as a Democrat.
You’d think somebody as nice as former Governor Mike Leavitt or present Governor Jon Huntsman would, in a soft spoken manner, of course, reach across party lines and give the matter a moment of their time.
I guess my new title is “angry democrat” after Bush’s speech. Yeah, I guess so.

Simple question for you Cliff, if the cause of Global Warming is man made green house gases; why is the temperature on Mars also rising?
September 4th, 2008 at 3:46 am
Steve Urquhart:
The guy you’re supporting for president once said that the reason Chelsea Clinton, (I think she was about 14 years old at the time), was ugly because she was fathered by Janet Reno. Don’t raise your flag on the high ground just yet.
September 4th, 2008 at 10:55 am
Sorry, Larry. The anon post above was mine. Didn’t you recognize the patois?
And yes, you’re an angry Democrat with a bigotry problem - just like Cliff.
September 4th, 2008 at 2:36 pm
I DID recognize the pathos. I’m sorry too, I didn’t realize you were actually “man with a moniker.”

Steve U. –
He put Senator before your name. Maybe he is immature and a prophet.
