The Organizer in Chief
Interesting article from the City Journal of the Manhatten Institute (oh yeah…”right wing crazies” at the MI).
Quote:
“Obama’s nomination will be celebrated as a first for African-Americans. But the racial symbolism may obscure the importance of his presidential run to the tens of thousands of government-funded community groups that stand to benefit from an Obama agenda that’s right out of the 1960s.”

So the choices are:
(1) Vote for the party that cares about ordinary Americans, or
(2) Vote for the party of the rich, by the rich and for the rich.
Pretty easy choice, if you ask me.

Vote, if you think it matters…
How long will my reparations check take to get, that’s what we really need to know.

I had a feeling there was some liberal-smearing angle to the whole community organizer thing. Let’s fire up that religious base!
Perhaps liberals really do care more about the plight of everyday citizens or those who have fallen on hard times. I’m ok with that. What would society be like if everyone was out serving their communities instead of counting their money and relishing in their own self-appointed moral superiority?
Sounds like some people need an injection of social responsibility to balance out their passion for reward-seeking. Will it happen anytime soon? Not likely.

Barack Obama is a Scary Black Man! He’s just like those rabble-rousing negros from the ’60s! He wants to spend government money on black people!
Have Republicans had a single new idea since 1964?

Yes. Actually a lot of them were enacted during the Clinton administration.
Thank you for playing.
