A Staff Meeting For McCain’s Economy!
At some point, the lies and ridiculousness of the McCain campaign transition from being scary, to being laughable, before receding back to being downright scary. Recognizing a new level of ridiculousness in McCain’s assertions, Obama correctly calls the pig a pig this time, noting that McCain’s idea of taking on the “old boy’s network” re the economy is, in reality, nothing more than holding a staff meeting among his top economic advisers, many of whom are powerful current or former lobbyists.
Today, I am laughing. Tomorrow, when it becomes apparent that the numerous stupid and susceptible among us will blindly continue in their refusal to recognize McCain economic policies for what they are - a heard of pigs, if you will - it will be time for scary again. We can only hope that Palin continues her quest to become the laughingstock of vice-presidential candidates with her bald distortions of truth and outright lies and sinks this ship of fools once and for all.
“Hey, Grandma Palin, tell us the lie story about that Bridge to Nowhere again. Please!!!!”

Good joke, Barack! Rings true!

Senator Obama not-so-subtly emphasizes the word “old” and says it twice…
A fair criticism of Senator McCain, especially because yesterday he gave an interview and either didn’t know who the Prime Minister of Spain is, thought Spain is a country in Latin America, or possibly both.

I think it is a herd of pigs Jim.
As mentioned before, people believe what they wish to. As bad as McCain will be, the opponents of Obama simply believe he and his will do worse.
Time to relax’ let it happen and watch the show. Looks like Obama has run his race.
The electoral college map isn’t looking good for Obama at this time.
The congressional races are tightening up as well.

For the life of me, I don’t understand your glee in hoping for a McCain win. Indeed, the only reason I can think of why you want McCain to win is because Cliff does not - you are just continuing one of those ridiculous opposing-view rants you used to display in the living room in SLC, just from a distance this time.
BTW, I think if you shop around on the news posts today, you’ll find that Obama has yet again edged McCain out in the polls, so you may want to contain your glee for the moment, especially when not a day seems to go by anymore where McCain or Palin, sometimes both, don’t make idiots of themselves.

It will lead to the proper collapse that will lead to real change perhaps. Anything short of financial armegeddon allows this system to continue. Bush the republican bails out the majors that are falling. Obama will limp it along. Maybe McCain will continue driving us into the dirt a while longer. When all is a shambles, then you can rebuild. I don’t know about you, but aren’t you tired of renovating this shanty of a financial system? Aren’t you willing to lose all the money you have so we can start over? Besides you aren’t losing it, it is just being redistributed.
Plus it is funny, that a group of pointy headed leftist intellects are being so thoroughly whipped by Oakies. I know I’m laughing.
Are you sure you want a Democrat to be president? It will be a tough 4 years, and blabbing about increasing taxes and programs isn’t going to draw.
It doesn’t matter what McCain/Palin make themselves look like. All they need to be to the majority is not Obama.
What are you going to say when McCain wins? What then? It is already so close, you damn well know the the dems blew it. What a fiasco at this point. The DNC should be lined up and shot. It has nothing to do with Cliff. He support any loony lefter that comes down the pike.
It is my belief I have been correct for at least 2 years now, if there was a way to blow the elections, the DNC would find it. Maybe you get lucky, but I doubt it.
We get McCain, and just as well, I could not support the executive and both elements of the legislative branch run by the same party. See if you can get the people organized in congress to roll him, because it is looking more and more, that it will be what has to be done.

Glenn:
Why do you hate America so much?
Now that I think of it, you’d probably be better off back in Germany where you came from - I’m sure you’ll fit right in with your skin-head brethren. Vermont doesn’t want you; Utah doesn’t want you; and neither does Canada. Your welfare benefits are probably nearing their seasonal end, too, where ever you currently live.

Misery loves company!

Have you stopped beating your wife? Well you aren’t married. So have you stopped beating your meat?
It isn’t a matter of want, last time I checked agreeing with Jim is not a pre-requiste for obtaining residency in any State.
Well Albert O, I don’t hate America, being a citizen and all. Trust it to you to come up with the classic right wing conservative argument to those that disagree with you. Do you know what kind of moron you appear by now? You need anonymity, because you actually think you are smart, wouldn’t want people to find out what the truth is considering the posts and ad hominem you produce.
I am not a true believer like yourself, what has got to hurt the most Jim, is that I’ll be right, and you will be wrong, but what else is new?
I am thinking that many folks welfare benefits are ending, yours included. Do you think we should takes the savings of all who have it and equalize income as Glendon suggests? Would you begrudge the poor the benefit of your good fortune?

The attacks are telling. It has to be very tough to be “progressive” and hoild so much disdain for the shrinking majority that simply don’t agree with you. The hate is seething from you all. Best thing to do upon gazing upon you all, is laugh, which I do toward myself all the time.
I am reminded of “Road Runner” progs being the coyote, that continually falls off the cliff despite having the Acme of everything at their disposal.
Larry, for a person that spends his free time on street corners holding a sign as a call to action, I must inform you I am pretty happy. I have a new hobby - knitting - and it is very fulfilling. Plus, most folks are voting for Obama, so that puts a smile on people’s faces.

Who’s the moron, now? Take a look at the following:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/18/palin.appeal/index.html
If you are going to throw about poll results to support your insults, the least you can do is inform yourself of the most recent polling information.
As I said before: just go away. Not even the right-wingers know what to do with your mindless ramblings and desire for America to become mired in anarchy.
September 18th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
I figure you will have a good night tonight, with those polls to keep you warm.
We’re going ad hominem, should be fun. Jim try to think up some good names.

What’s the matter? Don’t like the current trend of the polls? Too bad, get used to it!
September 18th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
Get real Jim; 3 points is nothing and you know it. Right now it’s a poll, not the electoral college. A CNN poll at that. I don’t put much stock in them, and that is clear
Could you even in your wildest imaginings think that McCain would be leading
Obama, or even close?
I’m not invested, they are both total losers. It doesn’t matter to me who wins, what matters is to see people like yourself reacting like 2 year olds, that scream and cry when their security blanket is out of reach.
How are you going to feel when Obama is down in the polls? I say, it is unfair, as it doesn’t matter to me, other than to have the government with a viable opposition to keep the dominant party in check.
September 18th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
OO:
I seem to recall a host of your Oakie buddies here the other day raving about McCain’s pending victory based on his being ahead in the polls by 3%. That makes it a 6% swing over the course of a few days. I don’t think you can deny the surge in support; notwithstanding your distrust of cnn polls.
September 18th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
Poor Jim; haven’t you figured out this is all for the benefit to the true believers like yourself? Seriously Jim, you are acting the rube.
They aren’t my Oakey buddies Jim, I work them, just like I work you, on their sites. Have to be subtle or they ban you. Which is Ok, better than having a foaming loser change sentences and hope that anyone would notice.
I see no surge in support for Obama, it may be happening in the city, the hinterlands are unchanged. We await the electoral college, it will be a pretty big whipping for McCain. Thing is just structured that way. Move back to SF, at least you fit in there.
September 18th, 2008 at 5:20 pm
Glenn:
You should hope that sentences are changed on your behalf. That way, when your posts appear before a Canadian judge - you know what I mean - the judge will be less inclined to rule you a hopeless and pathetic idiot.
September 18th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
Already done Jim. It began with WOF. However, these posts don’t apply, you are the lawyer, and you know why.
Jim, I had expected a bit more erudition in your posts, what we get is partisan and fairly hack based fare. Stick to writing, posting youtube videos doesn’t count. Use your imagination, and come up with something exciting and original.
