Pathological Liar? Can Palin Stop Lying?
When personal ambition is your sole motivation truth and reality take a back seat
President Peres of Israel yesterday met for the first time with Governor Palin and with Senator McCain, who called the veteran Israeli statesman “my old friend.” The warm handshake and exchange of broad smiles occurred during an international gathering known as the Clinton Global Initiative, hosted by President Clinton. “I wanted to meet you for many years,” Ms. Palin told Mr. Peres, according to an aide to the president. “The only flag at my office is an Israeli flag,” she was quoted as saying, “and I want you to know and I want Israelis to know that I am a friend.” - New York Sun
I hope Simon does not see this picture. Its too late now, but I would have bet a million bucks Palin didn’t even know who Simon Peres WAS before she was briefed by her handlers.
There are any number of explanations. But none of the good ones can quite capture the desperation that motivates a lightweight like Palin to gush to the President of Israel about the tiny, five inch paper Israeli flag she has casually wedged into a crack in the windowpane of her office being "the only flag at my office."

One of the signs of the coming Apocalypse (one of the reason the millenarians are such great supporters of Israel). 144,000 Jews are necessary (according to their reading of the Book of Revelation) witnesses to the Final Days.

Its not her handlers fault. They are struggling to come up with answers. What would you tell her to say about her:
1)lack of any knowledge regarding international relations
2)lack of any knowledge regarding economic policy
3)her crazy extreme views regarding abortion, gays, religion, etc. (extreme by even republican standards, unacceptable to the independents)
4)The AIP - her husbands membership, her involvement, her attending conventions. The founder made statements about America that make J. Wright look mild by comparison.
5)Family and self’s actions regarding her former brother in law (we in MS would say to keep this in the trailor park)
6)book banning
7)running the cyrstal meth capitol of American into the ground
8)repeated lies- ebay, state planes, chiefs, bridges and roads to nowhere, etc and so forth.
9)appointing her friends to positions in the government for which they were much less qualified than Brownie was for FEMA
10)Kenyan witch doctors, Jews for Jesus, protest outside doctors clinic (operation Rescue?), charging for rape kits, etc.
11)How about? Have you committed adultery? What about Todd? (If you do not see the relevance of that question. (see Bill Clinton/impeachment)
12)All the things we have not heard about?
Once you have acceptable answers that survive the laugh test then you can fault the coaching. I would not know how the explain her views and record. McCain needs to fire who ever vetted her. Oh, never mind.

Why does the Governor of Alaska have ANY Israeli flag in her office? Is it supposed to be some End Times religious symbol?

Kathleen Parker now joins the growing chorus for Palin to quietly go away, while there is still time.
Hmmm. Parker, David Brooks, George Will … I wonder who will be next!

It really surprises me Kathleen Parker has come out against Palin since they are both passive aggressive, Daddy’s girl, cheerleader types.
I have long been disgusted by Kathleen Parker’s existence going back to her vengeance toward Lewinsky for having gotten a taste of the presidential sausage that Kathleen could only dream about….

Okelberry? Matthias? How’s Palin working out for you now? Still want to defend the choice of Lady Moose(shit)burger? Still thinking that bagging on her is going to play into her favor and tilt things toward the Pubs?
That Couric interview was painful. When people are calling you “scary” on national TV, it’s not good.
You see, the problem with Palin is she really is as bad as we’ve been saying since day one. There’s not enough lipstick . . . nevermind.

Don:
You took the words from my mouth. I have been wondering where our friends Bob S., Bingham, RO et al. have all been these past few days. I hope they are ok.

James,
I’m still here. I’ve made a comment or two, but decided reduce how much time I spend here arguing politics.
I stand even less of a chance of changing opinions about politics then I do of changing opinions on the 2nd amendment so I am not wasting energy.
Occasionally, someone will say something that I will reply to so you never know when I’ll show up.
Here is a quote that I’ll leave folks with; as the saying goes, if the shoe fits….

Maybe their comments were collaterally damaged along with mine! (reaches for assault weaponry)
I was made to believe that since I was a white male, I’d be sort of immune to such things.
Oh, hello, Bob S.

Bob S:
Who’s the quote from?
September 27th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
Larry,
I found it on another site, but the quote is from Eternity Road by a gentleman named Francis W. Poretto.

Francis W. Poretto is an extremely weird guy. He thinks the democrats are organized.
