Change Is Coming To America

The official website of President-Elect Barack Obama for his transition to the White House, www.change.gov, went online on Thursday inviting all Americans to offer their ideas for the future of the country. People can also apply for jobs via the website or read about the president-elect’s agenda and priorities for his administration.

This reminds me of Howard Dean asking for the supporters of his campaign to vote on whether he would be accepting government money for his run or to wing it with his supporters. It was the first time I’ve ever been asked to actually participate in a top level decision in a political race. It felt really good to have Howard trust us to make the right choice, and we did.
Dean is the architect of Obama’s victory with his inspired move to welcome all fifty states into the democratic party. Thank him here, please!
