Linda Lamone Doth Protest
If you were a top election official, and someone in the media asked you, “is water wet?”, and you walked off the set, that would look bad, wouldn’t it?
This is an unaired video, which I’m sure the media bosses would tell their reporters to call, “old news”, if it ever got prominence, but I always say, “if nobody’s seen it before, it ain’t old news!”
Linda isn’t the only high election official to actually offer her name for use in a Diebold advertisement. To my knowledge, no top election official in Utah has done that, but then again, concerning our election process, they’ve never had to tell us whether water is wet either.
Stay comfortable.

That’s unreal! So, let me get this straight. I’m an election official and someone has some questions about the integrity of the voting systems. Rather than trying to allay those concerns, it’s okay if I simply tell that person that they’re in “fantasy land” and dismiss them altogether. Wouldn’t an explanation about why the questioner is in “fantasy land” be appropriate after making such a claim?

I wonder who that was off camera. Did she bring a lawyer to the interview?
