There is a new data set on Gun Dealers in the US against demographic data. There are some interesting correlations. They built a super cool map for that and other great data sets.

Interesting, liberal progressive Vermont where a weapons permit is not required to carry concealed has plenty of gun shops to keep the populace armed and ready in their constitutionally protected inalienable right to keep and bear arms.
Lowest incidence of gun violence in the nation. Vermont is a logical anomaly of Liberty and freedom in just about all ways.
